The Space — Attraction in Paradise

Attended Monday's Dark with a group of 10 friends. Our ages ranged from 50-80, not a single complaint amongst our group. Parking was across the street, very short walk and the attendants were very helpful. Six out of 10 of us had pre purchased tickets and the other 4 had no problem getting tickets at the door. The doors opened at 8 and we were told seating would begin at 8:30 which promptly took place. There was no mad crush to get inside and seating was open seating. I was told I could have upgraded my seats in order to sit in a raised area or closer to the stage. Eight of us sat approximately 6 rows back and decided anywhere in the room would have been fine as the venue is not a huge room. Mark the MC is hilarious with incredible comedic timing. He and his talented regulars have hearts of gold and are dedicated to their cause and the causes they perform for. I sat with wide eyed wonderment as each performer gave their all on October 16, 2017, everyone still hurting from the events 15 days earlier. They paid tripute to the to all involved that fateful night and celebrated the reason we were gathered this Monday night, TIP Trauma Intervention Program. My husband and I were married in May at The Space with about 55 guests, but planned for 65-70. We had our ceremony and reception there with minimal extra decoration. The Space has a wonderful private rental option for the entire venue that was 100% worth it.

I cannot say enough good things about the staff at this venue. Emilee was an amazing point of contact that answered all of our questions and was phenomenally accommodating to us prior to and on the day of our wedding. The staff kept things running on time, played our music in a way that it didn't just sound like the Pandora playlist it was, and they all seemed genuinely happy in what they were doing that night.

This wasn't a conventional wedding spot by any means and that did come with some planning complications for load in/out, but we still managed to get everything done without too much stress. The venue was also nice enough to let us keep our U-Haul with the reception rentals on property overnight so that we didn't have to worry about it the night of the wedding. The Space is an excellent venue. It may be small on the outside but has an extraordinary amount of room for all types of events. It has a large room, a smaller backroom (good size), 2 studios, and a recording studio. The front reception area is very nice with a good feel to it.

They are very non-profit friendly and do a lot for our community, especially with their Monday's Dark that raises money for select nonprofits.

It was the perfect place for us to hold our foundation's (LV Sportz Foundation) Free Sports Physical & Heart Screening Event in July 2018. The worked with us in every aspect to make sure our event went off without a hitch!

The staff is very friendly and helpful.
