i used to regard this place VERY highly, but after today... i regard it as abysmal at best with the crew of female staff they had... the cook was beyond clueless, and the waitress had to be on HEAVY drugs.
we ordered an omelet well done with light crispy hash-browns and a sausage and egg hash-brown bowl add ham and gravy... the waitress didn't even write the ticket and got the order wrong, when we added a waffle we never received it at all... the omelet was raw and slimy and the hash-browns with it were burnt, the hash bowl, didn't come with the ham or the gravy at first and than when it was 'fixed' the gravy was cattery runny and stale, the sausage was burned, the hash-browns were nearly raw and the eggs were raw, raw enough in fact that i am suffering minor food poisoning symptoms from it.
smaller annoying gripes include asking for sugar over 5 times between me and my companion, requesting the waffle we ordered 4 separate times, asking for fresh brewed coffee and being replied to with a cold cup of coffee with a nasty floating film and "is dis aright, or dju want a fresh pot?" within a few MOMENTS of asking for fresh brewed pot. needing to refill our napkin dispenser and retrieve condiments myself...
today was supposed to be a nice meal, my mother and companion for this meal wanted to celebrate her 1 week past surgery fighting breast cancer... and instead we received such bad service that we left in disgust, she left before i even paid the ticket, which i reiterate was not written in the first place and i almost had to write out FOR the woman on staff...
if Waffle House reads this review i STRONGLY suggest they drug test and terminate employment of the female staff that were working this evening approximately...
Read moreMy friends and I went to this Waffle House last night around 8:30pm so it was extremely late. When we got there it wasn’t busy only two other tables were taken and had their food already. We sat down at a table that was open and it definitely wasn’t wiped down because it was sticky. We sat and waited for someone to come over and after 5 minutes someone came over, she never introduced herself or even greeted us then she rudely asks if we were ready to order. We all had ordered and she didn’t write anything down so I already knew she was going to mess our stuff up, which she did over half of our order was wrong. She forgot part of my friends food and my friend had to go ask her for it. She never checked back up on us afterwards and then after everyone was almost done eating or halfway through their food she brings over the sides of gravy that my friends had asked for, which I think she charged me for biscuits and gravy instead of just them getting a side of gravy for their hash browns. The gravy had something in it that definitely was not a biscuit… needless to say they did not even touch the gravy. There were flys all over the place and getting in our food, they also had a leak in the ceiling and instead of mopping up the water on the floor they just put a bucket on top of the water that was already there. It was definitely the worst experience I’ve ever had at a Waffle House. She also never gave me the ticket so I have no idea what I was charged for. I would have been more understanding if the establishment was busy or if it was really late but it definitely wasn’t it was just extremely bad service I will never be coming to this Waffle...
