Spicy Lime in Downtown New Bedford is truly a gem among Thai restaurants. Every visit here feels like a culinary adventure, and I can't help but sing praises for this place.
The first thing that strikes you at Spicy Lime is the freshness of their ingredients. Whether it's the vibrant herbs or the perfectly seasoned proteins, their commitment to using the finest and freshest ingredients is evident in every dish. It's reassuring to know that what you see on the menu is exactly what you get.
What makes this restaurant even more special is that it's a family affair. Run by a mother and her family, you can feel the love and dedication in every bite. The personal touch in their service is heartwarming, making you feel like you're dining at a friend's home rather than a restaurant.
One remarkable highlight for me is how accommodating they are to allergies. It can be challenging to find places that truly understand and cater to dietary restrictions, but at Spicy Lime, they go the extra mile to ensure a safe and delicious dining experience for everyone.
In summary, Spicy Lime is a beacon of authenticity and hospitality in Downtown New Bedford. With fresh, flavorful Thai cuisine, personalized service, and a family's warmth, it's a must-visit for anyone craving an exceptional...
Read moreFirst time Last Time! As a chef, I don’t usually order out or eat out. But i was enjoying a lazy day, and decided to order from Spicy Lime since I love Asian cuisine and leave that for when I do eat out. . So I Chose something that I thought would be very delicious, but was quite disappointed. I ordered the Volcano Duck and the Hot and Sour soup. First of all although the soup was very good , it wasn’t very sour. (Have had much better) . The Volcano Duck was far from being “volcanic”, as it was quite bland and lacking flavor as also lacking in duck with only a few, small pieces among the soggy vegetables, all swimming in far too much sauce. Hardly worth the $28.50 price tag. As I searched for it I couldn’t help remembering that old Wendy’s commercial….Where’s the Duck?? All in all it was a bit of a disappointing experience and also my last time that I will order...
Read moreI've been enjoying Spicy Lime's excellent Thai food for six years now and decided it was time to give them a great review! The food is super tasty--I highly recommend their Yellow Curry (mild) with Chicken--you won't be disappointed! Their "Fresh Rolls" are a great app if you're looking for something light, (I like them in the summer because it's a nice balance to the heat of a curry and in the summer there's just something about a light, veg app that's refreshing. I personally love their gyoza, and often indulge in a Thai Iced Tea too. It's a cute small restaurant and the owners are super nice. It has a casual atmosphere--I often end up there with a friend, but you feel like ordering to-go, you can phone in your order and pick-up. I will always recommend Spicy Lime for anyone who likes...
