Caribou Coffee — Restaurant in New Berlin

I have been waiting for this Caribou Coffee Shop to open. It's a great location, just off of a roundabout, near a Marcus Movie theatre. I can imagine getting a drink before entering the theater or just before jumping on the highway.

This location is set up nicely. Good parking for walking up to the takeout window, and good traffic flow through the drive through. I was able to order my drink at the outdoor menu/speaker location. Got to the window a few minutes later. They got the drink right, chai latte with extra foam and cinnamon. The servers were all cheerful and helpful.

The only thing for me is that I'm not a great fan of their chia mix. Just not flavorful enough for me. Maybe there is a custom way to order it? I should give it another try.

The Bou is back! I just happened to see this location as I was driving and stopped in for a drink. I got the Honey Lavender Shaken Espresso and it was decent. The service was fast and the employees were very friendly and knowledgable. My wife, her family, and I have enjoyed Caribou, and we’re disappointed when they were bought by Peet’s and then closed down. The only location left was inside a grocery store 2 hours away and we went a couple times, but the last time I went, they were using another name brand syrup, and it wasn’t the same. I stopped by Caribou Coffee tonight and had a mixed experience. The drive-thru speaker was crackly, making it hard to hear. I asked whether or not the staff had any sugar-free recommendations and the woman said the only thing she could think of was a vanilla syrup. I like options! The place is cute, but the customer service was lacking; I had to repeat my order multiple times and dealt with some passive-aggressive vibes.
