Absolutely horrible experience and WAYY OVERPRICED. Was told it would cost $200-300 and I ended up paying $550. Also I didn't even get close to what I wanted that she said she could definitely do. I even went in for a consultation so she could take some of my hair to test the bleach to see how well it took to my hair to make sure what I wanted was possible. After she bleach the strands she told me it lightened very nicely and we could definitely do what I wanted. Yet the day of my appointment my hair didn't turn out anything like I had wanted. Wasn't even the right color!! Also after 2 washes in 2 weeks because i was told to wash my hair as minimally as possible to keep the color as long as possible the red that was supposed to be pink washed completely out. And it ruined numerous of my fiancees white tees in those 2 weeks because for some reason even after my first wash of my hair the color kept coming off and dying his white tees. I've NEVER EVER seen that do that before after you wash it the first time after dying it. Also I even bought the product the girl said would keep my red and used it the 2nd week after getting it dyed like she told me and yet it didn't even help the color stay in. All there worried about is upcharging you for things they don't even let you know will be an upcharge and then there overly concerned about you buying there products. It was prime day when I got my hair done and the shampoo was cheaper on Amazon for prime day then in there salon and the girl flat out lied to me and told me that redken doesn't sell on Amazon so she couldn't say for sure the it would truly be a redken product. So later that night I told my fiancee everything that had happened and he tells me that doesn't make sense because most products sell through Amazon now so he goes to look it up and sure enough redken sells on Amazon. So another lie I received! Honestly when I left this place I cried to my fiancee about how unhappy I was and how blown away I was by the price that they told me at the VERY VERY end as I'm about to pay. Again that was after being told it would cost 200-300 MAX!! needless to say I will NEVER EVER GO HERE AGAIN and I tell everyone I can about how horrible of an experience...

I came here to change my vivid spilt dye to pink and purple. I was reassured multiple times that their stylists were well versed in vivids.....I feel that I was sorely mislead after all that happened.

My first appointment was canceled then rescheduled with a different stylist a few days later. I asked multiple times if the new stylist was experienced in vivids and was assured each time that she was. Long story short, she wasn't experienced with vivids and never lifted green before. She did 2 test strands and ended up having me reschedule with a different stylist (AGAIN). I have to say that I am grateful she knew she wasn't able to do it and didn't attempt it. A+ in my book for that.

At this point, I was assured by the other stylist and a manager that the 3rd stylist I had an appointment with was well versed in vivids....which has proven to be untrue.

• Conditioned my hair after bleaching and before applying vivid colors which caused the color to be extremely splotchy • Only used 1 color per side, no other pigments. Same color used on my roots as well • When asked to redo the roots since they were a completely different color, redid using the exact same color

I'm no hair stylist but I've been doing vivids for over a decade now. Either at a salon or at home. And even I know that you cannot condition after bleaching or the vivid color will end up splotchy.

I have reached out to a manager and will update my review once they rectify this issue.

Update: They did have me come in and attempt to fix what they messed up no charge. Their "vivid expert" stylist did attempt to correct it. However, she ran out of time and asked me to come in a 4th time....only to find out that I'd be charged that time...for them to fix what their stylist messed up in the first place. I politely declined. I was able to fix it myself using a darker pink and now you no longer see my root line....

Overall, every one there are very nice but if you want vivid colors, I HIGHLY suggest...

First of all, the staff was very kind and welcoming during my first visit and the salon is adorable! The $20 off coupon for being a new customer was very much appreciated! Second, I usually have a hard time finding a stylist that can cut my hair the way I want because it can be a bit difficult.....I had kind of given up on my expectations at this point and would only get my hair cut once every couple of years to save myself the money and disappointment. Well, it was to the point again where I HAD to bite the bullet and get it cut so I googled, googled, googled until I found Hair Solutions. I called and told them my needs/wants and they suggested Sonya based on that. Sonya is AMAZING! Probably one of the best cuts I'd ever had. I really had begun to think it wasn't possible to get what I was asking for out of a cut but she delivered!! I can't lie.....I was still skeptical when I left the salon.....usually I leave with my hair looking presentable but then once I get home and get my hands in it and move it around and do what I do, I usually find the problems.....but not this time!! I kept playing with it, certain I would find something not to like (cause that's how I am sometimes) but I couldn't find a single thing wrong with it. It was nearly perfect which I haven't had in a long time! I will certainly go back to Sonya (and follow her wherever she may go in the future)! I'm truly grateful and appreciative for her service and expertise!! Thank you, Hair Solutions and Sonya! You were literally MY...
