This was our second time here. First time it was at night. The waiter took forever getting our order. Then he forgot to put the order in. He was new and we try to be understanding. We decided to give it another shot in the morning. We love IHOP pancakes so that outweighed the first negative experience. We will NOT return again after today. Really disappointed! It was 50+minutes before our food came. Took our waitress 20 minutes to get our drinks and come back to get our order. We were ready to order when drinks were brought and she said to hold on and she’d be back in a few minutes to take it. That was at least 10 more minutes waiting. She went to table that was sat after us. Then skipped us and went back in kitchen. Finally came to get our order. About 25-30 minutes later the food came. My order was wrong cause waitress put my eggs in wrong. They didn’t bring either of our pancakes with our meals. The hash browns, meats and hubby’s eggs over medium were very good. We had to stop and ask them for the pancakes. We were excited to get fresh hot cakes. Very disappointed that they were really dried out and barely warm. We did let waitress know that the pancakes weren’t good. She just replied that they were busy and kitchen was messing up. It’s a restaurant with normal rush on weekend. Not a good reason or excuse. No offer to get more or give a discount. We overheard that she got next tables order wrong as well. Instead of saying “I’ll go get you the other sausages you ordered.” She says “Is that okay? I’m sorry! Are you okay with just two? Sorry we’re busy”. Guy just said “It’s fine. Go!” I could’ve asked for the manager, however, they were busy. We chose to just leave. We had plans. I will be calling during a less peak busy time period to speak...
Read moreSave your money and your time, just don’t eat here. I enjoy IHOP, and I know what to expect when I go, but this one is not the one. They’re understaffed to the point that waitresses are ranting about it, I get it, but not cool. We should have left then. Our waitress was busy, that’s not on her, it’s no big deal. We are patient, we like drinking coffee. We ordered everything at once. We can wait. But as soon as our food came out wrong it was game over. Mistakes happen, I didn’t get the pancakes I ordered, I did want those, I requested them to be remade. Our hash browns were barely cooked much less well done like ordered, our food was cold. It sucked. We told our waitress the issues to pass along to the kitchen but we were accepting the situation and not asking for our food to be remade. My correct pancakes came out cold with practically frozen blueberries on them. Our waitress avoided us at all costs. She didn’t ask us if we were okay or needed anything. We couldn’t get more coffee, more creamer, different syrup, hot sauce, napkins, etc. She had the time to check on her other tables. We could hear their conversations, we were the next table over and yet couldn’t get her attention. We were nothing but kind and understanding. We didn’t blame her for the food, we said as much, but when it went wrong she noped out. We didn’t eat our food but paid for it. No one was sorry. No one cared. And we weren’t the only ones getting food replaced or not eating what came. I honestly do not understand how it was so bad. IHOP is usually good food, hot pancakes and coffee, I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad time there. But it sucks knowing I don’t want to risk my day and dollar going to another...
Read moreWe attempted to make our third visit since opening. But it was a wasted trip. The first visit was good. The second they were too confused if taking credit cards or only cash, after sitting and ordering with waitress. Thankfully the waitress said they were taking everything. This trip at just 3 pm was a cluster. Walk in and what looks like an entire staff break and eat, which may have been a testament of being busy, there is confusion as to just what table the two of us were to sit at. Mind you half a dozen seat in use at a few minutes before 3pm. Had to ask his mom in Spanish, yes we are multi lingual. We are seated get to table, review menu and begin order hear sunny boy shout to the waitress “cash only”. Poor waitress confused as heck, as obviously not case before. A coupe was sat down just before us and was not stated that we could tell. Place is not well run in this aspect and looked rather poorly supervised as momma chowed down telling her sun what to do and say. So we left. We are on our way to Antigua Latin inspired kitchen for better food at about the same price. You should give it a try. Sadly I like IHOP. But I think this one still needs to get its act together. I give 1 star as the food was good on the prior visit. Just don’t know what service to expect....
