Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in New Berlin

My wife and I recently went here for smoothies. I had the Jetty one, which is a strawberry banana smoothie. My wife got one that was a tropical mango kinda one, not sure the exact name offhand. My smoothie tasted watered down, like they used way too much ice in the mixture, or cheaped out on it and used way too little fruit. My wife's smoothie tasted okay, but had a really powdery kinda texture, like it wasnt mixed well enough. Which was weird because we didnt get any of the mixers/extras (like powdered protein), so there shouldn't have been anything in there to give it that sandy kind of taste.

Also, some of the staff seemed like they were annoyed to be working. Possibly because lots of other people their age were sitting in the place hanging out and talking.

We both threw out our smoothies as soon as we got home. Very disappointing experience, which is especially frustrating because this place is so close to us, and not many smoothie places are in the area (at least that we know of). I might try this place one more time to see if maybe the person who made my smoothie just did a bad job, but if it's as bad as the last time, I'll just go to Orange Julius at the mall or that other place on Bluemound Rd.

EDIT: I just read some other reviews and thought I should also mention that there was no one in line when we went there (on a Saturday around noonish). We walked in an immediately had our order taken. I think we just got lucky because as we were ordering, about 10 high school kids came in and got in line. Went in there this afternoon and Brandon took my order. He was nice. They both seemed on edge honestly. His coworker lady with Brown hair, was so unprofessional. She handed me my beverage with an attitude. I asked her if it was different than the previous one or the same because I ordered two kinds. She said there the same. Then I said one was supposed to be different. Then she said that's what she told me. She's not even sure what she's saying. Then gets an attitude at me for correcting her and the tone in her voice was nippy. I was done with the conversation at that point and said "goodbye". She then SCREAMED "goodbye" as she walked away. Not sure why someone like that works there but I will never step foot there again. Which is sad because I love that company and work around the corner.

I get to my destination with my food... The banana was black. I tried to open other end... It had a black stripe all the way through. The snickerdoodle cookie I ordered was...

The taste of my smoothie was good, but the service was so bad!!! I ordered two drinks, one was made and then the second was no where to be found? They made and gave 3 other customers orders before asking me at the counter while I waited if I needed something. I told them they still didn’t make my second drink before completing the three orders behind me. Every worker in there seemed very annoyed to be there, they were not in matching uniform, had old leggings on and did not look like you should in this business. What was most frustrating was that while my order was not made, there were 6 employees just standing and talking to each other in plain sight not working at all during the whole time I was there. The cup they gave me had a big chunk missing from the top (styrofoam cups) and everything was done sloppily. Unfortunately, this company needs to put more effort...
