As 20+ year loyal customer of Panda Express, you can imagine my excitement when I saw one opening up in New Bern!! Well, that excitement was VERY short lived!!! I walked into the lobby and the manager, a very short Hispanic woman, immediately approached me and shooed me outside like I was a stray dog looking for scraps. How humiliating. Then I was forced to stand outside while she went in and placed my order. When she did speak to me it was like she was speaking to a child. The portions were small, food was room temp. I tried to go back again, this time with a mask. I know why the portions are smaller than EVERY OTHER Panda I've been in. It's like the owners also own Subways. Counting precisely how many chunks of chicken, or meat you're supposed to get. Might as well give them a gram scale to measure it out with!! You're a new restaurant and if you keep this up, you won't be here long. Either way, the horrible taste that was left in my mouth from the worst Panda Express experience in my 20+ years of being a customer, was enough to overpower the taste of the food. Thank you for ruining a long-time favorite of mine. I will not be returning, and you can be rest assured, that the people who I know, will be encouraged to eat somewhere else. Interesting to note that store leadership is nowhere seen on here responding to the abysmal reviews by their customer . I guess they just don't care. It's pretty bad when a brand new store opens up and the majority of its reviews are 1, or 2...
Read moreI door dash and today I went to pick up an order. The counter guy said it would be ready in a few minutes. We'll, 10 minutes go by and I ask for an update and told we are waiting on teriyaki chicken. I asked how long will that be he says 12 more minutes. Now they aren't bust at all and I can cook so 22 minutes to cook some chicken?! It gets better, after 12 minutes expire I ask again and he says 10 more minutes!! Are you kidding me!! During this debacle I am in communication with my customer who is waiting for her food. She is pissed ND I don't blame her. So bottom line,I waited 35 minutes. As I was getting the food I asked the counter person who the manager was, he said there wasn't a manager on duty, are you freaking kidding? Read moreMy husband i got to panda probably almost every week a get the same thing every single time. My husband brought me back food from here today. My food tasted rotten. So i called to let them know like yall cant be serving this (even though its the end of the day). The girl who answered said its the same many people have ate and said maybe its just not my cup of tea the mushroom chicken (that i get everytime). I told her it taste like its been just sitting out all day like maybe they messed up someones order then gave me that she kinda laughed at me the whole time...
