Chipotle always hits the spot but this time was great ! Great portions the staff was great and professional. The young lady with the dark hair working the night shift Samantha was super sweet and kind we were super hungry and got our fix! We will definitely be back! Only reason doesnāt have full 5 stars is because my steak had a lot of fat in there I found about 5 big chunks of pure fat otherwise the cook on it was amazing wish it was all consistent and the bathroom was a little messy otherwise not a bad experience and delicious food!
This was a month ago and now unfortunately I need to edit my review thanks to an extremely rude manager Griselda. 2 weeks ago when you FIRST rolled out with chicken Al pastor we came in to eat and order. We had a chicken Al pastor bowl a barbacoa burrito my go to every single time and a childrenās meal. Upon entering there was a wait no big deal itās chipotle and normally itās good food good quality why wouldnāt it be. But the recent time I went there was no rice no beans they had nothing stocked up at 8:30 pm you would say peak dining time since I also worked in food industry for over 10 years. There was plastic right on top of the black beans they had just brought Out itās no shock or surprise they have bagged food items literally every restaurant on earth uses some sort of bagged product but there was plastic in the food so much it was sticking straight out I told the young man and after trying to get his attention he finally saw it and took it out and threw it away the same beans were served to other guests. the couple behind me looked and shook their heads I should have walked out right then and there but did not have the time to find another restaurant and they were halfway done with our order. I was hoping to God that no other plastic was in our food since I had no idea if these people even cared at this point. Sure enough we get home and thereās another piece of plastic in our food I called the store talked to HALEY the manager who was POLITE, PROFESSIONAL, and completely understanding I have a 4 yo had she eaten that plastic and choked we would have had to go to the ER and had a lawsuit not sure whatās more important to this store as I was reassured by the kind manager to give them her name the next time and they would remake my food for me. Tonight I call the store before I go in just to make sure and as a courtesy I gave the manager the other managers name right away she said Who? I said Haley sheās a manager she said sheās not in so what do you want? I explained that my order should have been put into the remake list or whatever they use to keep track she kept being rude and hesitant saying she needs to talk to the GM I said thatās fine I now want to talk to him as well because when I arrived she ignored me I needed to show her my recent I had it online asked twice to have her see my Phone as proof before it died she hesitantly came she barely spoke I said if you want I can come In another day when the GM is there is itās this much of a problem. She kept making rude comments and the Icing on the cake was she said we didnāt have pastor 2 weeks ago so thereās no way that happened. This āmanagerā accused me of lying she was rude I told her to look up the receipt. I was appalled that this is who runs the store when a month ago literally a month ago the sweetest crew was so kind and professional whoever does the hiring has it completely messed up this lady clearly hates her job and maybe life because she was so rude when I asked for her name she said it very Loud making a scene yelling it out each letter G R I S E L D A thatās how itās spelled! The young man looked down as if he was ashamed of this behavior I donāt blame Him this is unacceptable would the store rather we choked on plastic and have a lawsuit for negligence seems so. I give up on this chipotle well take our business and money else where this is unprofessional and completely uncalled for what kind of system says to write the managers name and not give it merit or credit. Haley was good Griselda needs...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy first ever visit to a Chipotle was to this location on 10/30/2015. Good chance it will be my last. When I first got there, there were maybe 2 other customers in the store. However, it was so loud I could barely hear the employees and I had to shout for them to hear me. I go about the process of ordering 2 burritos and 2 kids meals, one quesadilla and one burrito. Being that it was my first time ever eating in a Chipotle, I was unaware that the kids build your own plate is tacos, not burritos. The menu board itself does not state anywhere that it is tacos only. All it says is you get your choice if tortilla. So I tell the employee who is starting our food that I want "a kids build your own burrito meal". Those were my exact words. Had he told me then that the meal was not for a burrito but for tacos, this entire experience might have been different. We get to the end and the cashier is asking me what side and drink I want for the kids meal and I'm trying to figure out why I'm only getting one side and drink. As I'm explaining what I had ordered, a third employee cuts me off and tells me, in the most condescending voice, that they do not have a kids burrito. When I pointed out that the board doesn't say anything about it being tacos she told me that it didn't matter. That it was the same at all Chipotles. I then told her that I had never been to one before so there is no way I could know that. I also asked her why the first employee didn't inform me of this when I first ordered a kids burrito. All she told me at that point is they will remake it into tacos. I told her fine because at this point there were people behind us and I didn't want to hold up the line. I pay and we leave. Get home and my son opens up his taco plate and the employee had put some beans, rice and taco shells in it. This is not what he had ordered. To top things off, instead of taking out the burrito that was supposed to be the one they were replacing with the tacos, they left that one and took out the steak burrito I had ordered for my husband. So only half the food I ordered actually came home with me. Worst Customer...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreGrayson was the highlight of the day here! I am newly diagnosed as needing to eat gluten free and Chipotle is now even more often a staple for when Iām out and about and hungry, thanks to the menu being largely gluten free. (THANK YOU!!!) I came to this Chipotle about 6:30 on a Sunday, and while it looked like it had been busy busy and there wasnāt any Chipotle Tabasco (lol), Grayson was kind and hospitable. He double checked one menu items and even was proactive in saying āLet me change my glovesā without having to be asked.
Moreover, I saw him interact with some other customers and his demeanor was just fantastic no matter the customer or request. Very rare to find someone so genuinely kind and smart in a way that showcases service to another, in one who is also so young. Tho Iām sure heās got potential for much more than managing a Chipotle his whole life, maybe he could come to SATX where I live, and train other Chipotle employees in this surround area!
The girl ringing orders was also very sweet, I didnāt catch her name, but went the extra mile to anticipate customer needs whether asking āare you here for pickup?ā when I first walked in and looked for the bathroom to wash my hands, or actually looking in stock areas before telling us the Chipotle Tabasco was out.
I put a lower rating for the food only because I ordered the more expensive brisket, and between the flavor, the portion, and the fat IN the portion I was given, it just wasnāt good. I donāt get why itās more than steak because brisket is a cheaper cut, but if Chipotle is going to offer brisket and being the quality weāre used to in all the other ingredients, maybe try getting lean brisket thatās smoked well, over this huge-chunks-of-all-fat we have to...
