Knights Express is a small pizzeria on Easton Avenue closer to Tacoria, Paulie's Pizza and what was the NJ Book Store. Parking at this establishment isn't very convenient, as it is street parking and Easton Ave at this section is usually very busy. The interior itself has a decent amount of room for sitting at normal sized tables, which have the Rutgers Knight carved into them (a nice touch). There is a very good drink selection and another positive for this pizzeria is that it's open earlier than nearly every other pizzeria on Easton Avenue. You can purchase breakfast at this pizzeria if you wanted, which is a nice convenience. There's also an ATM inside.

The plain slice was run-of-the mill. Nothing too special about this slice, but it wasn't bad. The crust was fluffy and the slice had a salty taste to it. It wasn't overly greasy and the cheese tasted fresh enough. The sauce was on the sweeter side, but still pretty good. Like many pizzerias in this area, it would have been better to have more sauce on it. The Chicken Bacon Ranch slice was extremely filling, but not overly amazing. It was greasier than the plain slice on account for the 50% more cheese they put on it. The amount of ranch to cheese was fair, but the bacon wasn't crispy enough for my liking. It wasn't bad, but I thought that if the bacon were crispier, it would have made for a...

I put an order in for two Belgian waffles with Nutella and received nothing close to what’s described. I instead received four pieces of Eggo waffle nonsense you pull out of the freezer at 2:30 in the morning when you’re half in the bag and too wasted to Seamless better waffles to your door, so you settle on what you can manage to shove in your toaster for two minutes. Super unacceptable and disappointing; didn’t even taste good. I would never willfully pay someone to deliver Eggo waffles to my doorstep.

It is a disservice to the customer to assume a subpar replacement will satisfy the expectations of the desired item; if Belgian waffles were unavailable to fulfill an order, the customer should be notified prior to delivery and be offered the courtesy of receiving a suitable substitute.

This is just disrespectful to Belgian waffles more than it is to my drudging Monday appetite. false advertising if I’ve...

Good food open late for delivery and pick up. They consistently screw up the order like tonight I ordered a 2 liter diet Coke and the driver brought a regular Coke and then lied and told me they didn't have any diet but when I called the restaurant they told me they would send it to me, then my phone died and supposedly the driver brought the diet Coke, I called them again and almost an hour later and I am still waiting for the diet Coke. Poor customer service. It took 2 hours for me to get the Diet Coke, by the time I got it the pizza...

My job has placed three group orders and I’ve placed one solo order. First order I got a sub, the meat looked very old. The second order I got vodka pasta with shrimp, the shrimp were not cleaned/deveined, and the pasta was so overcooked that it fell apart at the touch of the fork. Third order I got a burger, it was surprisingly good. Last order was a burger, it tasted absolutely disgusting, after lifting the bun there was old moldy vegetables. Order at your own risk!

Visited at lunchtime on 7/22/25 and enjoyed a typical Easton Ave pizza slum experience. The pasta slice probably tastes better at 3AM. It's been a minute since I was a student, so I'm not sure if this place has innovated the "knights taco," which is any fat sandwich wrapped in a slice of pizza, or if they are just following suit. Either way, I'm in favor of the development. #YouWannaPizzaMe?
