Read moreExpect to spend a little more than usual here, but the food is exceptional. It's the style of pseudo fast food restaurant where you walk up to the counter and order and they bring it to you and you take your tray to the trash after (like dining in at Chipotle).
I had the super hot Murga masala sandwich with fries, a lemonade, and a water. Their ginger lemonade (and everything else) was great, but it's $5 for a bottle that's probably 16 ounces or so. As good as it was, I wouldn't order it again because the price is a tad silly if you ask me. The chicken was cooked perfectly and the super hot sandwich had an incredible flavor, though it wasn't as spicy as I hoped. It was still the best chicken sandwich I have ever had. It was similar in texture to a Nashville hot chicken sandwich. The fries were similar in consistency and cook to Checker's/Rally's (which is famous for its fries), but with masala seasoning instead.
Everything I tasted EASILY gets 5 stars for flavor (it really was so delicious my mouth is watering writing this review and thinking about it). The price is the only thing that should make any Indian food lovers hesitate to try this place. If you're okay with spending $21 plus tax for a Murga sandwich, fries, and a bottle of water then you should absolutely give it a shot. You...
Read moreThis is a unique take on Nashville chicken. The store was really clean and had a fresh vibe to it. Bathroom was also nicer than many fast casual restaurants.
Now onto the fun stuff. Badmaash's Mac & Cheese is a must try and liked the fusion idea. Huge portion with a lot of chicken. Super cheesy and I liked the masala and mint chutney sauces on top. It is very heavy so I think it’s best to share as an app instead of as your main meal. I like the metal trays everything is served on but felt the Mac & Cheese could use a better serving dish. Or at least remove the paper insert it was served on because that soaked up the sauce and started to tear.
I enjoyed the Murga sandwich and was above average. I did find the amount of Indian spices in it to be less than expecting though and it wasn’t extremely noticeable. That would be my main critique. I will try the masala sandwich next time to see if it has more Indian spices in it.
The Masala wings were just okay and wouldn’t really recommend. Moist and crispy but didn’t have a lot of...
