I rarely write reviews, but for It’s Thai Time one feels compelled to make an exception. The food is really delicious, totally authentic Thai, and beautifully presented. The appetizer, entrée, and dessert are all of high quality and unbelievably good. The cocktails are delectable, and the vegan Merlot is super-soft. We were there late afternoon, shortly after it opened for dinner, so there weren’t many customers or servers yet. The owner took care of us herself and we shared happy conversations. She is friendly and expert, and we are grateful she ventured to open It’s Thai Time in New Haven and wish her much success. While we can’t comment on atmosphere in terms of crowd because we were there way earlier than usual dinner time, we greatly appreciated the enchanting background sound, a mix of classical music and soft rock. Awesome for vegetarians…very customizable (they can remove egg, fish/oyster sauce and will let you know when they can’t). If you get a large serving of soup, they bring it with a little gas heater so that it stays hot! Second the food was extremely amazing if you like this type of cuisine I would highly recommend any of the desserts they are TOO DIE FOR.
