I routinely gives 20% tips in coffee shops and restaurants alike. Every visit the to Blue State Coffee next door - 20% tip. First couple of times I visited this smoothie shop, 20% tip - friendly and professional staff as you would expect from a shop like this. This past Sunday, however, 5% tip.... It's like the cashier had a grudge with the shop, had decided to quit, and did not care if they would lose customers. A shame really, as the smoothie is decent and I go there for a treat. But no smoothie is worth it to be treated with rudeness. It felt as if I were a refugee getting some charity food from an officer who liked to play power. Not sure what happened behind the change, but in sum this shop has much worse customer service standard now it seems. For the good service before and still decent smoothie, I give 2 stars...

I only wanted one fruit topping as I don't like the other fruit toppings they offer and they refused to fully top my bowl with fruit. Manager had a rude attitude about it too saying I need to pay extra for them to finish my bowl with a single fruit which is completely unacceptable
the bowl is incomparable to top acai bowl places like Oakberry- and I recommend saving your $ for elsewhere if you are looking for a nourishing...
