Coffee is mediocre to bad, more focus on the huge selection of syrups than in actual coffee. All syrups are so sweet you can’t even tell what their actual flavor was supposed to be. The paleo orange cake was so oily, the napkin and paper bag they gave me to hold it turned transparent. It must’ve been the most bland cake I’ve ever tried (and I’ve had paleo-labeled food in many places, that’s no excuse). I choose where I go to spend my money mostly on the product I'm receiving. Common Grounds coffee far surpasses some other national chains in it's quality and flavor. They have an interesting selection of flavors matching tastes and seasons. Everytime I've been, I've only seen 1 woman working solo, but she is always moving fast! I feel like she must live there! My only complaint about the place would be the column and style of music. Certain subscription systems have channels like "Coffee House", and Common Grounds might want to look into that as it can be difficult to hear oneself think at times with the...

I’ve been coming here for a year almost every day for my morning coffee. The baristas are incredibly friendly and professional, even during their busiest hours, where other businesses often fall short in kindness and professionalism. The coffee is great, and their chocolate croissant (get it warm!) is indulgent and delicious! They also have a nice selection of prepared foods (pasta salad, wraps, etc) that taste great!
