I ordered through the mobile app just before 5pm. I arrived at the resturant to discover a long drive through line shortly after 5pm. I received my food around 6pm. I wasn't mad, I'm in customer service I understand stuff happens. But when I pull up to the first window, the door slides open, "are you the mobile order?" The worker asks. I respond yes and she slams the door and goes back to her cellphone while she leans against the counter. Now I'm alittle irritated, for sure. I pull to the next window after another long wait. 4 bags are shoved out the window, the window slams. Minutes pass. 4 drinks are handed out the window, the window slams. Now, I know that I've got more order, because I checked the bags between the slamming of the window and my drinks coming out, not because someone said "thank you, have a nice day." But because I checked. Also by this point I can see there's at least half a dozen workers in the kitchen, they aren't short staffed at all.
So now I'm officially mad. I tap on the window. "No thank you? No I'm sorry for your wait? I was just in line for half an hour minimum." The worker who shoved my food out the window responds "what do you want me to do about it?" I said I'd like her to apologize, maybe thank me. So she sarcastically responds "thank you sorry for your wait." So now I know the game, I want my receipt since the first girl couldn't be bothered to put her phone down to give me one. While another worker prints my receipt I can hear the girl complaining. "I was in here waiting just like him." Well, I'm a paying customer, and just wasted my time while you were being paid to do, whatever it is you're doing in there.
I called the complaint line. That was a 20 minute wait too. When someone responded she could hardly understand me enough to know what I was upset about and offered me $5 wendys credit, which I declined. Then she offered to have the store manager call me back. I could visibily see the managers in the kitchen. One was doing nothing, another listened to the exchange between the drivethru worker and I and chose not to intervene. So she said she would escalate it to the district manager and he would have to call me back.
Typically I go to another location, but today I was in the area and chose this one. My three year old almost exclusively eats wendys. But now, I'm considering introducing him to another fast food resturant. I'm blown away by the lack of concern this company has for their customers. Had this not been a prepaid mobile order I would have definitely left the line, but I was trapped.
Go somewhere else. Eat something else. Anything, I'd rather eat rocks than deal with this place again, and likely any other...
Read moreManagement is sub-par at best so do not expect at least even good service. There are a handful of good employees who care and do good but the bulk is, unfortunately, complete morons currently. To start the cashier(maybe she is a"special hire" but if so shame on them for letting her run the register) I have done food delivery for the last 12 years, having kids i love it as it gives me the freedom to work when I am able, constantly meet new people, or is an AMAZING source for psychological field study (AS-Psychology) and one constant change of scenery! I digress..
I'm omw to do a pickup and I see Aus* K. and B.K. on my pickup screen.
I select the Aus*K and proceed as when I was about to hit B.K. it popped up as "Completed"
I head inside to meet our special friend, who already looks nervous at best.. meeting a ton of people over the years you can kind of tell, you know? I see for whatever reason the only order on the counter is B.K. And it is funny I am here for two new orders and it is STILL there and the "manager" just came over asking me what my name is like it is my problem that my job sends me here to pickup orders with this new team. Maybe that is there problem.. guess time will tell.. for now 2...
Read moreI work across the street. Love Wendy's. Sat in line for 20 mins on a 30 min launch breake. When I I asked for service they said they didn't have the staff to give me service that I would have to leave. Went to window asked for maniger. She walked up shut and locked the drivethrough window. I went in side where two cashiers yelled at me and threaten to lay thier hands on me and through me out. I was not disruptive I just asked for the managers name. They continued with thier threats. Kinda wish they would of cause I have lawyers. Finally the manager who had no control of her staff gave me her name wiel trying to tell her staff to go back to work. Of course they had no respect for thier manager and continued to threaten me.. a corporate complaint has been files. I also emplored them to review the security footage for the incident. Worst Wendy service i have ever had. Go somewhere else do...
