2.5 years ago my puppy was not allowed inside bc he was not a service dog. Now he is allowed but there are pets allowed and not one employee asked the 2 ADA questions that are there to protect disabled service dogs/handlers. There was even a puppy sitting in a chair with his owner which is not what a service dog is even allowed to do. Do better CCs. My dog is task trained but for staff to just allow any dog inside bc they love dogs. What if a pet attacks a kid inside? ADA.gov is important or is CCs now pet friendly inside now? Coffee is good but I van get tea and egg bites at other shops.

I recently visited a coffee shop while traveling and was captivated by its charming location. The place had a European vibe with its outdoor seating and cozy atmosphere, and the customers were very friendly. I noticed that they allowed dogs inside, which is rare nowadays. Although I didn't have a dog with me, I appreciated this policy. The coffee was decent, but it was a bit too sweet for my liking. The scone was fresh but not something I would choose again. However, the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the place made up for the average quality of the products.

One of my favorite locations for coffee in the city of New orleans. The location is ideal, and the coffee is perfectly delicious and balanced (Community Coffee ☕ always is) . The staff are wonderful. Whether seated inside or outside you'll be treated to great views and a comfortable environment for relaxation, doing business, or passing by if you're just visiting the city.

The last three times I've gone in the past week, only one time did I have an amazing coffee experience. I ordered a large latte with an extra shot and oat milk each time. 2/3 times the drink had no espresso flavor at all, even after the second time she made it. One visit she actually made it three times and claimed she put two extra shots in it. Still flavorless, like I was drinking hit milk. I ended up pouring most of it out and filled my $8 drink with gas station coffee which had way more flavor than CC's when being nade by certain baristas The one visit I had in between the two flavorless ones, the barista who made me an amazing flavorful latte, explained to me why the drink had no flavor my previous visit and it was because the person making the espresso was not pulling it the way they are trained to. I tried to convey that on my next visit but both women working couldn't make me an espresso drink with any flavor whatsoever and they tried to tell me it was because of the milk not the espresso. Nonsense. I asked to try just the plain espresso and she said no.wow! What a waste of money and of good beans. Also for a shop the had a Mardi Gras promotional sign above the register, when I asked the barista how her Mardi Gras was she answered, "I hate Mardi Gras and I had to work here." The negativity was really disturbing. What was also disturbing is how this same woman had asked the co worker for the milk steamer wipe rag and she threw it her over the counter after having been cleaning the tables with it. And then she used it to wipe the milk steamer right in front of me. It was really dirty looking and if it had just been for the milk steamer it would have no brown marks all over...

I love supporting local businesses and try to support this one. We have a weekly coffee group that goes here. But I'm deeply disappointed by their lack of response or interest in my concerns about their continued overuse of single use plastic. I bring my own cup to reduce single-use plastic (which is frankly killing sealife and deteriorating our environment). I keep being told that because of COVID they can't use my cup. There is no valid science behind this policy--certainly not anymore. I ask them to please let management know about my concerns, I've emailed them, and nothing. Last time, the girl made something up and said "They're working on it." Absolutely no concern. This isn't an episode of Portlandia, this is a real environmental concern. COVID has set back the environmental movement and increased our use of single-use plastic to the nth degree. The only people who benefit are plastics manufacturers. I"m going to start asking friends to meet elsewhere, places that have at least a modicum of concern...

Food is fine, just like any other CC's location. However, a staff member was extremely rude and prejudiced to people of color. Her name is Hannah, and works weekday afternoons. When my friend's mom (who is Latina) brought her friend (also Latinx) to the coffee shop, she heard Hannah call them "illegals". When my very diverse friend group went to the coffee shop, she seemed skeptical of the Black people in the group. She treated the white people in the group with kindness and patience and the Black people in the group with passive aggressiveness. She also checked my Black friend's $10 bill for counterfeit but did not check any of the white friends' cash. It was an uncomfortable experience for my friends and I won't...
