Five Guys — Restaurant in New Orleans

My grandkids LOVE Five Guys, and I am a fan, too. Given the choice, the grandkids will jump at Five Guys almost every time. I have to say, I prefer Five Guys burgers to most of the places that have been recommended to me as THE BEST BURGER EVER. I am a big eater, and the regular burger is plenty for me. We all love the fries, too. Warning: the regular size order of fries is a LOT of fries, easily enough for two or more. The fill the contain to overflowing, put it in the bag, then dump another whole container full in. The kids also go nuts for the pick your own soda machine. When traveling, my wife and I will often stop at a Five Guys if we want a quick lunch. The food is always perfectly consistent and well worth an extra few minutes compare to any of the usual fast...

The first time that I ordered for pick up from this place ten other people were also waiting. I waited so long without being able to get a single employees attention that I ended up leaving without my food. Tonight was my second time going. I ordered food for pick up and the website estimated a 5-10 minute pick up time. After 5 minutes, I got in line and ask where to pick up orders were, however, my order was not ready. After 15 minutes I got back in line and asked the same employee if she could please check on my food. She exclaimed rudely "Where were you? Outside? We can't just be calling people's name!" Ordered for 3 people through doordash. $70 after tax and modest tip. When the driver delivered my food, I realized 2 burgers were missing after having to dig through all the fries spilled out in the bag. Driver called the store and they said they would remake the burgers. The doordash driver went back to get the rest of my food. It wasn't his responsibility to make sure the order was right, it was theirs.... when I took the food he brought in, the one burger that was in the bag wasn't even one that I had ordered....
