I placed an order on the app like I always do. It was "out for delivery" for 45 minutes, so I called to check on it.
First they told me they didn't have drivers, so they voided it. Except the app said it was on its way from 45 minutes ago when they did have drivers, and they didn't ask me any identification for my order, so I asked why the app says its been on it's way, if they voided it. They told me to check my porch, then hung up on me.
I called back and tried again. This time they asked for a phone number to identify my order. They said they found a different order going to a different address. They offered to void it. But since that clearly isn't my order, I didn't want to do that. I offered the order number from my app, they didn't want it. They told me I could come pick up the other order that clearly isn't mine then hung up on me again.
I called back a third time. This time they checked my phone number and told me they couldn't find my order. I offered the order number from the app, they said they voided it. I asked why it said it was still out for delivery? They said "oh, I ain't talking to you" and hung up again.
I called back, this time they yelled at me and hung back up.
Finally, they called me back telling me they "found my order, it's on the pick up shelf if I wanna come get it." At at that point, I didn't even clarify that it was my order or the same order they "found" earlier that was registered to a different address and was not the same thing I ordered. I asked if a manager could run it by because by now its been an hour, and it was promised to be delivered. They first said there was no manager, then said their manager doesn't have a car.
I told them to refund me. They said it'd refund in 3 - 5 days. If it ends up being someone else's order, you're welcome.
I've called headquarters to complain. It should not have taken 5 calls to find my order in the first place, they shouldn't offer delivery if they don't have drivers, they also shouldn't mark it as out for delivery if it's not being delivered. At the very least, they should have called me the second they realized they couldn't get it to me. But they definitely should not have kept hanging up on me before figuring out what happened to my order.
Update: I've had to dispute it through my bank, after having not had the refund back in my bank account...
Read moreWe just left there. We ate inside and we were the only customers in there. There were two girls and a guy working. The girl who took our order was extremely rude and had zero personality or customer service. She acted like she hated her job. Then she was on the phone while making food and the phone was on speaker which is tacky. The guy never said anything to us. All of this I can deal with. What I will not tolerate is being rude to my two year old daughter. We were walking out and the girl who prepared our sandwiches was sitting at one of the tables. My two year old walked up to her and tried to tell her Bye like she does everyone because she is innocent and so sweet. The girl looked at my daughter like “why is she talking to me” and didn’t say a word to her while the rude girl who took our order laughed. I am infuriated at how these girls treated us. They deserve to be fired! Also, I ordered the pickle sandwich and I wasn’t sure if I would like it so I asked if I could purchase bread alone and I was charged 5.99… just...
Read moreAbsolutely infuriated by my experience here. The level of rudeness was unbelievable. Walking into this Jimmy John’s felt like I was inconveniencing them just by showing up. No greeting, no “how can I help you,” not even the basic decency of acknowledging a customer. Just a bunch of employees staring at me like I was a problem instead of a paying customer. It honestly felt like I had to beg them to do the job they’re getting paid for. I’m beyond disappointed — I’m angry. I truly hope the owner sees this and realizes what a huge mistake they made hiring such unprofessional and disrespectful people. Completely...
