A Restaurant!! - In fact, it's one of my 3 Favorite BARS in the French Quarter. ... sorry I keep capitalizing BAR, I'm irritated at Maps, every question about this business was food related 😡 Molly's On Toulouse (*This! BAR!) doesn't serve food! .... (That's Molly's at the Market - on Decatur, across from the French Market. *They! serve food & drinks! 😁 - still a bar, tho.) .... Molly's on Toulouse Offers: • Bar Seating &/or Table Seating • Cocktails & Beer • Bar Seating! 😃👍 or, Table Seating. • a Juke Box of Rock n' Roll! 💓 (Roy Orbison - to - Acid Bath 😍 ... Rock n' Roll!) • a Pool Table! • Video Poker Machines, • Color TVs (4, I think) above the Bar... (typically) each tuned to different channel w/ closed captioning, so viewers can follow along 😃 .... & Most of ALL - Molly's on Toulouse! offers ATMOSPHERE!! 😍 .... & everything Awesome! about a Good Crowd, Rocking Out, & Enjoying Adult Beverages! (1 drink minimum Folks! 👍) & You too, can enjoy - Listen' to Good Rock n' Roll! while Sipping Whiskey & Shootn' Pool! ... or, when it's slow - a friendly game of Darts!! (available @ bartender's discretion) ..... 🚫 NOT a Dining Establishment! 🚫 No Kids Menu! 🚫 No Highchairs! ( In Fact )

Loved the bar but the bartender alternated between friendly (at first) to hostile. She insulted/ridiculed most of the customers after they left ("i'm so sick of BABY-SITTING!") and she trash-talked another bar for quite a while especially after we told her we were planning to go there. She kept sniping that "YOU SHOULD LISTEN TO THE LOCALS!" I can only imagine what she said about US after we left. It was a bizarre experience. and yes, this is the correct Molly's, on Toulouse, near bourbon street. I'll report back after I go to the FORBIDDEN bar LOL!...OK so I'm at the GOAT, (the forbidden bar!🤣) And I love it. It's relaxed, low-key, fun and it has a definite satanic vibe that I dig. Not everything HAS to be in the middle of the French Quarter to be awesome. BTW, I'm an old lady and I walked here by myself, no hassles, no problem. Don't let people's nonsense scare you🤘go...

I honestly hate this place but go back every time because it is so cheap. My group has been kicked out on 3 different occasions because the bartenders are the rudest people I've ever met (coming from a seasoned bartender). Last time it was because my friend had just bought a round and was looking in his wallet for cash to tip and she started screaming at him and causing a scene for not tipping, while he was trying to tip. I have just cracked it up to that is their schtick there. Gets a little scary there when they kick you out because the people are a bit rough and start ganging up on you, customers included.
