I just relocated to New Orleans from New York City a few weeks ago. Having spent more then 25 years in New York with the same hair stylist, I was anxious about finding a new one here in NOLA. I asked my guy in NY for a recommendation and he referred me to Billy Miller at HINGE on Magazine Street. I was able to get an appointment, and it was an AWESOME experience. What a talented stylist! I’ve been disappointed by so many other salons in my lifetime that I just stopped going to a professional for my hair. There was at least a solid 10 years of DIY hair cuts and color in which 96 percent of my own work (I have no training) wasn’t what I intended to do. When I first got my hair colored and cut by Rachel I was stunned. I felt gorgeous! And it lasted so well that I was amazed at how long I went without going in again.
