I would love to give 5 stars for the food but as for customer service is horrible. They are rude talk to you like your stupid for asking questions. They were sold out of most things we wanted to order. Which ok we understand times are hard. Staff is short we own a restaurant an we get struggles. But these lady’s were just down right rude. They laughed with one another making fun of every person ordering. I was so surprised by their behavior towards customers. Now as for food it was good and price was fair. But we did leave the restaurant to get drinks and then come back to eat our food due to how rude the staff was. I refused to spend another dime with them or be spoke to the way these ladies chose to speak to us an others. As for would I go back? I am a second chance person so I would go back for the food but if greeted and treated the way I or anyone else was I would cancel order and walk out to never return again. We had an amazing time in New Orleans and this is the only place I could say I’m in no hurry to return to or recommend due to the staff working

My mom and I embarked on an exciting trip to New Orleans, and one of our highlights was stopping on the vibrant Bourbon Street. The city is renowned for its incredible cuisine, but we were uncertain about where to find a truly satisfying meal. After some consideration, we decided to randomly select a restaurant, and I’m thrilled to say we weren’t disappointed. We visited during the quieter days when the world had slowed down, which made for a uniquely intimate dining experience in an otherwise bustling city. The restaurant was nearly empty, lending a serene atmosphere, though the customer service was just average—neither particularly remarkable nor unpleasant. Despite the service not being unforgettable, we genuinely enjoyed ourselves, and the food was delightful. Each dish had its own flair, showcasing the rich flavors New Orleans is known for. Plus, the restaurant's convenient location near our hotel was an added bonus, making it easy to stroll back after our meal. Overall, it was a memorable stop on our adventure!

Oh my goodness! Great late night meal / snack that hit the spot. So Good Makes You Wanna Slap Yo Mama! We were all just out having a good time trying to have some good late night food. A couple hours before we ate pizza then we came to this place and it was Poppin! I know you wouldn't consider this place stereotypically French Quarter Bourbon Street authentic but man the drinks were great the service was great the people were cool, it was so cold outside that the chicken warmed my soul when my tongues taste buds first contacted the sweetness. The ordering is in and out very simple and not too overwhelming of a menu to figure out what you actually want. Sit down if there is room and just have a good fun time talk over some plans about what you're going to do in New Orleans the rest of the day over some alcoholic drinks that they serve sometimes as well. Enjoy this great little Goldmine Quick Stop to fill your tummy in between Big Boy meals. Easy peezy chicken greasy!

630 Bourbon St, New Orleans, LA 70130

This was the worst dining experience ever. New Orleans was a dream vacation for my wife. She did the research to go to a air bnb, found that New Orleans was one of the most popular travel destinations for 2018. Her major reason for coming here was the hospitality; I've been here a couple of times a few years back and I sold her on that as well. Ira Toney the manager (If that is his name) has ruined that experience for her. About two hours ago at approximately 1:15 am on 04/19/2018 my wife stood in line and ordered a chicken meal. It was stated that they were out of certain things so she ordered what they had. She proceeded to a table by the wall and waited. A few minutes after, Ira Toney came and began cleaning the table. She thought this was a kind gesture and got out of his way. Without saying anything, he began putting the chairs on the table. While my wife is looking at him at this time her order came up. When she came back with her order I took the chairs back down so she could sit and eat because she was attempting to eat her food while she was standing at a empty register. He stated she couldn't sit there. My wife became upset and asked why she couldn't sit to eat and the white patrons that came right before her could. Ira Toney did not respond. She stated she wanted her money back and he proceeded to gather her order and give her money back still not saying a word. Her money, disappointnent or time appeared to mean nothing to him and he appeared to not have to justify his actions. As we went outside and I gathered what information I could about him and the establishment he continued to patiently wait on the other patrons who were white to leave. He didn't pick up a chair nor did he give an indication to them that they were closing or had to leave. The only idea that they had that this establishment was closing was because they (the other patrons) asked my wife why was she upset and leaving and she told them that he was allowing them to finish their meal and she was not allowed to. It is 3am in the morning and I'm tired and sleepy but I felt the need and obligation to let someone know of this mistreatment of my wife by this individual. I'm asking this Ira Toney give my wife an apology, take some diversity training and be reprimanded in some form. This was my wife's first day in New Orleans and it has hurt my heart that she had to experience this at the end of what was suppose to be a remarkable experience. She has had to come back to our bnb tired, disappointed, disrespected and hungry because of the lack of courtesy and respect shown by someone that is suppose to be a manager for this organization. If this organization doesn't think a response is justified, I'll try to ensure that none of my colleges, associates, friends or family members spend their money at this establishment or any others under this brand. If you don't want your wife direspected, I wouldn't want you or the people you know to eat...

If you want to be treated like an adult human being, then you do not want to go here. I do have to admit that the food here is fantastic. The chicken tenders are fresh and are fluffy clouds of heaven.

One of our friends got dangerously drunk. We are from Wisconsin, so this is not usual for us. We're pretty good at knowing our limits, so we suspected roofies, but NO it did not happen here. We actually stopped here to help him sober up, plus we were hungry and tired from walking around. We bought food. One of the girls needed to use the rest room. A 50 year old, leathery skinned woman blocked her way defiantly. She wouldn't let us use the toilet. We bought food. We are paying customers. She refused us access to the toilet, accusing us of trying to gain access to the second floor balcony. We didn't even know this chicken shack had access to a balcony. We told her she could even escort us one by one to and from the restroom if she wanted to, but she would not budge and then proceeded to berate us in a juvenile fashion about our age, looks and our professions as "losers" (we are all mid-20s, college degree bearing, professional career driven citizens), and she would snicker to other customers that we were not allowed to join her "exclusive" ranks on the second floor. What should have been just a fun night of NOLA shenanigans ended on a super sour note. I don't think I've ever wanted to real life punch someone EVER as much as I wanted to punch her in the mouth, but knowing her, I probably would have developed necrotizing fasciitis by touching her.

Not that race has anything to do with this, but FYI she is white, all my friends are white, I am Asian, so it was not a race thing. Or a classist thing either. We don't know her and she doesn't know us, so honestly, we just think it was a maturity thing and poor management. Something really should be done about her because she is failing at her job and is a power hungry manager who doesn't understand the common sense of maintaining diplomacy and reasoning.

Also to note, all the other employees were polite and patient. It was just this particular C U...

Stay away from this location at all costs. Horrible experience: stopped in to get my son some fried chicken tenders and tried some chicken myself. My chicken was taken off the warmer and was dry as a bone and tasted like chicken jerky. Disappointing but not the end of the world. Crust was good though and the fresh fries were also quite good. However, the tenders were a fiasco, literally raw inside. So we asked them to replace and waited for them to recook his order. They arrived anew and… were still raw inside. When we asked for a refund they said they couldn’t and argued with us. Then when I insisted on a manager, they said we had to wait for the manager to come over from the canal st location. After a long wait the manager arrived and the one server was hardly cooperative complaining my son had eaten the fries. Which she eventually TOOK AWAY from him. Then the manager tried to say that at least the second batch was cooked ok. I then produced the second piece which I had saved and showed her how it was clearly raw. The fact that they argued with us AT ALL, was shocking. Honestly, I love New Orleans and its food but OMG stay away from this place as they obviously didn’t even care that they may have given food poisoning to my son and had the nerve to argue about issuing a...
