If you like to eat cockroaches this is the place to go. I asked the waitress to get rid if it and she said " get rid of one of our locals? " Ok whatever but where I come from I don't eat around cockroaches neither do I appreciate them crawling around everywhere when I'm trying to enjoy a drink along with my meal. I looked around more and seen them crawling everywhere on the bar side. Then I went to the food court to order take out. Big mistake ! I ordered two meals, the waitress brought me one container I asked her if that had both meals in it she said yes . I gave her $40.00 she never came with my change. I looked up on the club floor she was smoking weed with another waitress. I asked loudly where is my change. My good intentions was to make sure she received her tip. She came downstairs to run her mouth to the cashier who took the $40.00 complaining that our bill was $31.00 and that she thought she deserved a tip. So she was giving our tip back to us to make us happy. I politely asked her why she thought she didn't need to give our change back. Then I proceeded to tell her that my husband and I wanted to make sure she got her tip that's why we needed our change back. Then the little smarty pants said well why wouldn't I have gotten my tip. Very loudly I said " ITS New ORLEANS !!" Well I told her to keep the tip. However when we got back to our Hotel there was only 1 order. We got taken by so many ways here. I have never been treated so badly in NOLA or here. Normally this is our favorite place to go. However after this experience I won't be going back. They are ripping their customers off and plus I didn't take to kindly to all the dope smoke. Who ever ownes this establishment should start checking your your workers. There stealing from you.

I rarely have experiences where I am like just no, based on the food. But, it's a no for me. I had the Shrimp Po-Boy and there was no way for me to eat it. I am not sure if the shrimp was not cleaned properly, but. It had a dirty taste to it. I just could not cover the taste. A lot of dry ingredients with one tomato, one small piece of lettuce, and 2 pickles. Also, the mayo sits outside on the table sweating (Please don't eat that!). The sever only came once to refill our waters, after we flagged him down. I told him I didn't like the sandwich, 95% of it was still there, and he just laughed and took it away. Luckily we did find a coupon online to lower the price of the $20 sandwich, I was still paying for! I paid him for it and he assumed the change was his and did not bring back my change. It was rude, to assume. Will not be back to this one guys. ***Heads up, not a lot of money, but, there is a 3% convenience fee for credit cards.

bourbon heat is definitely a go-to for a night out with friends. i enjoy the many different levels and spaces it offers. upstairs gives the full vibe of a night club, while downstairs also offers a bar and music in the front with a courtyard space towards the back. upstairs does have a balcony, but should be known that there are lots of flashing/strobe lights upstairs for those who may be sensitive to that. very nice and usually clean bathrooms (in the women’s bathroom there is a bathroom attendant woman who usually sits in there and offers loads of useful products for women to use, although you must tip her of you use the items). overall, nice service and employees. i even lost my entire wallet here and returned the next day and was able to retrieve it from the lost and found. bourbon heat is a place i would recommend!

I'd give less if i could. This was our very first stop in new orleans and tbis is how my wife and i were treated. We had a 25 off 50 or more certificate and were very excited to try this places food and drinks. Walked in and the 2 young bartenders immediately pulled out there phones leaned on the bar and ignored us. Waived to them and anyone else we saw that possibly worked there. Nothing! We were ghosts to them. 15 minutes later we sat at the bar right in front of them and called to them politely. Eventually I yelled out excuse me about 6 times. We were inside this place almost 30 minutes. We hadnt had any food or drinks since we left california. They were serving and talking to all the nice straight people but I think we were ignored for being lesbians honestly. If it was for age they could have asked for id since I'm almost 30. But since we were 2 feet from there faces and they ignored us no eye contact we didn't even exist to them. After nearly 30 minutes of being ignored to our faces we left. As soon as We did those 2 young bartenders boy and girl put phones away. We went to the funky pirate down the way and told them everything! They explained to me they hire the crappiest staff and they are always playing with phones rather than working. But they agreed my wife and I were purposely ignored after all our attempts. We spent $80 at the funky pirate between food delivery and drinks and tips. That couldve beenbourbon heats 80 bucks. I wouldn't suggest this place to any gay person. This place should be called Bourbon Hate. $25 gift card was wasted since they refused to serve or...

If I could only rate the food it would be 4/5 stars. But since this has to do with service and everything else- you only get one. Came here twice on our visit to New Orleans. First was okay; second was very bad. Even after the first visit I left the shift in attitude when I told them I’d be using a coupon. Food- good! Service- bad. Our second visit we were misdirected, ignored, and then poorly treated by our waiter. We were left at a table for 20ish minutes before someone decided to actually take our order- after being ignored and just brushed off anytime we tried to get someone’s attention. I also had another coupon, and when it was added to my bill they doubled the total- which seemed like it was to get a higher tip. I would’ve tipped the actual amount but the waiter kept trying to grab the check from my hand. When he saw there was a small amount (BEFORE I ADDED THE REST) he was pushy and rude about getting more. WHICH WAS DOUBLE THE ACTUAL CHECK AMOUNT SINCE THEY HAD DOUBLED OUR BILL. We’re planning to come back to New Orleans, but definitely not this place. Save your money people....
