(Liberty) Kennedy Fried Chicken & Burgers (Halal) — Restaurant in New York

So I definitely give them one star. That's my 2nd experience with them. Almost 4 months ago when we bought barbecue wings they were dry and old like sitting in their hot case God knows how long. But at that time my kids ate them and leave them half ways. So I just let it go at that time. Than a month ago again I ordered instore and we got fresh made. But today we ordered once again on phone to pick up the order as my home is 10 blocks away . We picked the order in next 20minutes which is standard. Same as before the chicken was so old and dried up exactly like cardboard. Even when I clean the sauce from it the meat color was like grey. It was so so annoying and frustrating that even meat has changed its color and when I call them , the guy over the phone started blaming us that we picked the order late which was a total lie. Because even chicken sitting for 4 or 5 hours don't become cardboard or changes its color. I was definitely a day or 2 old and reheated which made it cardboard. Only fresh thing in our bag was fries which was still warm when we reached home. After arguing and blaming when I told him I have to throw it he told me to bring it back. Like really again walk down 10 blocks in that cold to show him. Still I took one out of garbage to took a pic. My 6 yrs old already started complaining of tummy and it made me nauseous too. Please for god sake don't buy old expired meat from them. And pay for their unprofessional and...

Always passed by this place and it seemed to be the only mom & pop fried chicken spot in the area. So I decided to give them a shot, wanting to eat some other fried chicken that isn't Popeyes. The cashier was really kind and kept communication, made me feel welcomed and took my order no problem.

I ordered chicken tenders and popcorn chicken, both coming out fresh and delicious. More so the popcorn chicken as the seasoning it had really got me addicted that I had to keep going for another bite as I walked home. The chicken tenders didn't have the same seasoning and were just your standard chicken tender fried to a nice crisp. They were a little dry though. They were nice thick bites. The popcorn chicken truly was the stand out. Definitely going to be the main thing I always order from them!

They did, however, get my order mixed up. They gave me onion rings instead of chicken tenders. Thankfully, I wasn't far from the place when I noticed so I went back to let them know, kindly that is. The guy who took my order apologized and fixed the issue. I got to keep the Onion Rings.~

As for the free onion rings I got, basic onion rings with a nice crisp. Did need to slather them in some hot sauce. Overall, good food even if the tenders were pretty standard, good service from the guy who was at the front at the time I went, and I was satisfied. I will return to try out their other selections...

I know no one from the store or the owner will see this or reply to this, because they don’t care enough for their customers, The service was horrible. He is making the store lose customers, I was there today around 6:30, and I want to ordered one veg burger and one large fries, that’s all, then the guy asked what kind of large, lol never heard that question anywhere before, then I told him large, what do you mean what kind of large, then he started making mean comments like large fries for you, I should look out what I eat, eating that will make me fat, he was body shaming me😔. Then he goes like do you even speak English do you understand what I’m saying, there was another person working, the ruse guy told the other person can you explain her what I’m saying, she is so dumb, just because I have an accent doesn’t mean I speak the same language as the other guy who was working there, the other guy was nice enough to explain to me that there is large and there is jumbo large, then I told him you gotta be more specific when you offer someone something, just because I said that , he canceled my order, he said no food for that, I had a long day at work, I just wanna get some food and go home and eat, and that’s how I got treated , I understand probably he also have long day at work, doesn’t mean he can treat...
