Greenwood Quality Bakery — Restaurant in New York

99% sure I reviewed here already and they must have deleted my review so I will leave one again.

I came here with my mom about a year ago. She bought hops bread. If i recall correctly, she bought about 4 and there was one hops bread left so the worker gave her the 5th one for free. That was nice of her because it was the end of the day and it probably would've been thrown away anyways.

There was also this pineapple bread kind of thing- not sure what it's called, but it was really good.

I saw their oreo cake and thought it looked good so my mom ordered one of that for me. They ended up forgetting to put it in the bag and we had to come back for it. Luckily, we had only walked for about minute. We went back in and got it and I didn't eat it until I got home about 10 minutes later.

I am not exaggerating when I tell you this was one of the WORST things I ever let touch my tongue. It was SO BAD. It must have been sitting in their fridge for months. Like it still LOOKED great, but it tasted like the fridge mixed with plastic. I don't think I ever knew something could taste so bad until this. The oreo on top just fell apart when I went to throw it out. It was really upsetting because I was looking forward to it.

The only reason I don't give here 1-star is because the hops bread and pineapple pastry/bread thing were good and the lady helping us seemed pretty nice. But I would never come back here.

The least you guys could do is remove the word, "QUALITY"...

They had a sign in the window I went in there and they looked at me like I was like what I was doing and then why cuz looked 100% better than all you sea haggs that work in that Bakery these are disgusting you don't even wear gloves your hair is all over the place and you look at me like why im applying here you couldnt get better than me lady you all look down at people that ain't your own kind but you know what you should look in the mirror because you're all disgusting and you smell like Curry anybody who wants to work in that place good luck to anybody who wants to work in there because these people think they're better than everybody all racist people they ought to look in the mirror because they so are not better they never been and never will be and I'm sorry I even walked in there and shamed myself those are not my type of people why would I want to work in a place like that don't put a sign up for help and when people come in there you look at them and judge I'm a better cake designer than the one you already have and I realize that I'm too good to be in a place like that so good luck to your bakery cuz it's only a matter of time Its going to go downhill like the rest of them on Liberty Avenue cuz you're not so good thank you very much you made me realize I'm too good for this place and that...

Absolutely horrible customer service and etiquette. I placed an order a week and a half prior to the event that it was needed for. Upon arriving, I waited, just for someone to say they didn't have the cake...shocker. The cake was in the freezer, not done - all they had to do was write on it and I was waiting an extra fifteen to twenty minutes; I was already there an hour past the time I had set to pick up the cake so it was frustrating that it wasn't done. Brought the cake out, the most hideous writing ever. I paid $85 IN ADVANCE for a cake that was over an hour late.... They said they would be able to fix it within forty-five minutes, I came back, the cake still was not complete. I demanded a refund, a nasty fight broke out after I voiced my frustration several times and this skinny light-skinned girl cursed me out after having the audacity to ask me why I didn't like the writing on the cake. Never have I ever been treated with such disrespect at an establishment that was a family staple, or just in general. They were beyond disrespectful and they are wholeheartedly not deserving of any recommendations or service. Really sucks that this happened as we've gone here for over five...
