390 Social — Restaurant in New York

390 Social hosted our 65ish person wedding. Every step of the way, Dana was helpful, organized and reassuring. I was concerned about the space comfortably fitting all of our guests, and boy was my anxiety put to rest. The way Dana arranged the space was brilliant and left more than enough room for dancing, dining and mingling. The entire staff was kind, professional and helpful. Guests are still raving about the delicious food and cocktails. A guest who is sober was impressed with the non-alcoholic spirits and felt respected by the option to enjoy a fun, non-alcoholic cocktail. And Dana, a true girl’s girl, thoughtfully provided me with cloth napkins to fashion a bib to keep 390’s delicious bolognese sauce far, far away from my wedding dress.

390 Social is unique in its character and understated beauty, which allowed us the convenience to keep decor to a minimum. The space’s decor spoke for itself, especially the gorgeous live plant wall.

Having 390 Social as the backdrop for the most important day of our lives just feels right. We got to support a local business in our neighborhood that we love, we were treated with kindness and professionalism, and without exaggeration, it was nothing shy of perfect. We cannot recommend this space enough, whether for a weekend cocktail and bite to eat or a special event.

Dana was an amazing host. She was on top of everything and even things that I didn't think of, she did. Our event was a bridal shower for my daughter. I must have emailed with Dana a dozen times over the months of planning. She answered all of my questions and gave suggestions. She even put me in touch with a local person who does balloons the way you want it, not necessarily sculptures, just balloons which was perfect for me. When were planning the menu, we both laughed over the fact that I had vegetarians, pescatarians, gluten free, dairy free and meat eaters all coming to this party. Dana made suggestions to me that really helped. The space was lovely. There was a long bar where everyone seemed to gather for drinks and appetizers. I loved the small cocktail tables which were perfect for mingling. The "living wall" was such a perfect spot for opening up gifts and for taking photos. The entire back wall was all glass which allowed tons of natural light to come in. I appreciated being able to arrive 1 hr early to set up flowers and decorations. The whole 390 Social team was amazing and made our baby shower seamless. The space is gorgeous and requires very little or no decoration. The lighting and plant wall makes a perfect photo backdrop. Dana was very helpful with detailed questions before the event. Madelyn managed the day-of event with great care - she put a lot of effort into making sure the projector would work, that the desserts would look great and be decorated (she put our toothpick decorations in them), and fixed our signage mid-event without us asking. Pablo the bartender was super friendly and made the best mocktails I've had during pregnancy as well as great alcoholic drinks for others. The busser kept everything tidy without rushing anyone.

The food was delicious, portions were great, and it was so nice that leftovers were packed up and labeled for us. It was awesome to have a private space where the charge was based on food/drink minimum rather than space rental. The space is also accessible for strollers and the coat rack came in handy.
