I have lived in the neighborhood for 8 years and just recently tried this restaurant. I’ve now been there about 5 times now and like it more each time I go. Tonight my friend and I shared the Bianca salad which was really delicious. It is an interesting, basically off white salad that is incredibly tasty. We each had an order of the scallops, which were one of the evening’s specials. These may have been the best scallops I’ve ever eaten. They were perfectly caramelized and very sweet. The sauce was a perfect blend of a buttery, mild lemon flavor that complimented the scallops without overwhelming them. There were six medium sized scallops and some sautéed greens ( it came with potatoes but I requested just veggies). My only complaint was that there could have been more veggies. The food portions are decent, but for the price could have been a bit more generous. The wine pours were generous. Service is good and staff is friendly. Atmosphere is nice. I would definitely...

Put simply, my wife and I really like Amata. We are not followers of "trendy," nor is "popular" enough of a reason for our frequent patronage. We return because the food is consistently excellent, the decor is attractive but not overwhelming, and the background volume level is appropriate for conversation, which makes this a place to take friends, family, and even business associates. The owner comes from a restaurant family, and he has the experience and intuition to know what works, especially in this location. Importantly, the red sauce and cheese are of high quality and flavor, and they know the meaning of "al dente." We live in the neighborhood, and Amata is an asset to...

We joined our cousin Todd Stein (who is running for district leader), he recommended Amata....excellent service & the food was impeccable 👌! We were served promptly and catered to every minute during our visit. Gnocchi with pesto, lobster 🦞 tortellini with vodka sauce, Wow! Baked calms, fried Calamari, steak cooked perfectly, and much more. Parked right out front. Not rushed at all. Pleasantly greeted and overseen throughout the evening by owner Christopher. Ambiance & atomosphere was perfect!Thank you for a wonderful dining experience. We will be sure to visit...

Update October 2024 Amata still has some of the best Italian food without the high prices! I don't need celebrities to pay 5-10 times more for the food! The servers have been there for years and they are the best! The food is still delicious & the quality is great!. And the owner is almost always present. And they will accommodate U if you wish a different pasta or sauce if they have it in stock. Great Italian food. Delicious fish!

The food is amazing here! I went for restaurant week they have a deal 2 choices for 1st course 2 choices for 2nd course and a dessert. There is not a better value anywhere. I would recommend going at happy hour for the drink specials. The Spanish mojito is amazing! The octopus was the best I ever had! Try this place you won't be sorry!
