Loved this cafe during my recent NYC visit. I live overseas now but lived in the area over 10 years ago and visit regularly. So coming from someone who has seen the area change over the years, this place is a gem and one I would definitely come back to. Excellent tacos and baked goods with a range of options for all dietary requirements. Fav was the lemon lavender cake 🤤🤤🤤.

Unfortunately, the service left much to be desired—no greeting when we walked in, just a vibe like they were doing us a favor by letting us be there. The cashier’s attitude didn’t help either. To top it off, they have a sign suggesting that if you don’t want to tip, you should make your own breakfast. Honestly, tipping wouldn’t have even crossed my mind after that kind of service. That said, the baked goods are absolutely 10/10. If you can overlook the lackluster service for some top-tier muffins or banana bread, it might still be...
