ARORA - L'art Du Cocktail — Restaurant in New York

My husband and I had the welcome cocktail party before our wedding night at Arora a few months ago. It truly was the BEST, most elegant, sophisticated yet extremely fun, good vibes, happy few hours. While, of course, our family and friends helped create that experience, Arora's environment and the attention and service provided with nothing by the very best attitudes from the incredibly skilled, professional and friendly staff really supported the whole mood of the party. Arora lifted us up, and we were able to soar! Our friends and family are still talking about it today - How perfect the party before our wedding night was, providing the warmest welcome to everyone who traveled from far and wide. The local New Yorkers who lived a few blocks away loved it, the California, Colorado, Florida and Oregon crew loved it, and those who traveled from overseas were obsessed too! A universally enjoyable experience had by all.

Specifically what we loved were the finishes and decor, which evoked classic New York with a fresh, immaculately clean and "new" feel at the same time. They maintain this bar SO well, clearly. Arora somehow balances a world-class and high end feel while also being cozy, relaxed and down to earth. A hard counter balance to strike together and somehow they did it - A perfectly well rounded environment!

The food prepared and passed around was all delicious and there was enough of it to go around easily. The cocktails at Arora are artfully crafted, and they gave us the best of the best! The staff was generous in every way. As already stated, the service and staff created a comfortable environment - They were also so on top of everything while making us feel laid back and comfortable! They made their work look easy when I know it was not!

The whole experience down to the planning ahead of time was easy with the Arora group.

My whole family would HIGHLY recommend Arora for any event you may be having and/or just for cocktails and a bite any day of the week. The location is so central - It's so easy to get to from most places in Manhattan.

My partner and I recently visited ARORA cocktail bar, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The decor is absolutely stunning, making the atmosphere both elegant and inviting. We arrived a bit early, so the place was empty, allowing us to fully appreciate the beautiful interior.

The staff at ARORA were incredibly friendly and helpful, ensuring that we felt welcome and attended to throughout our visit. Their service truly enhanced our experience.

We started with a Japanese Old Fashioned, a great basic cocktail that did not disappoint. Next, we tried THE GINSBURG, which was tasty and refreshing, and an Espresso Martini that was excellent. The Marcy Playground was another standout—really good and refreshing.

In terms of food, we only sampled the caviar canapés, but they were so delicious that we ordered them twice. These light snacks were very flavorful and come highly recommended.

What a great addition to the UES! This recently opened restaurant was on the Resy hot list so I decided to swing by for some drinks and bites. I was so pleasantly surprised by the staff, service, ambiance, food, and especially the cocktails! The bartender Jose seriously never misses a beat - I usually am not the type of person to get 2 drinks at dinner but I couldn't be stopped. I got a spicy margarita and The Kennedy - both well balanced in flavor and on the more citrus end to my liking. For food we got the cream fraiche caviar and garlic brioche - the cream fraiche is seriously to die for and pairs very well with cocktails. Perfect snack for the table and the caviar serving is more than generous. The garlic brioche was such a savory bite with a hint of truffle - elegant and tasty!

Fun fact: this establishment is nutt free! Came with a friend allergic to everything under the sun and knowing how mindful they were with allergies made it easier to enjoy the dining experience.
