Not worth the hype! Save your money. I decided to check out Ottomanelli's on a Friday night based on the reviews saying they had a great steak definitely not true.

1. Chaotic Service- As I walked in the small store I was confused with how to order. They had the order counter section of the store for burgers and the fridge section for looking at the steaks. So they led us to the fridge section and walked us through how to order. Then led us back to a table. They had two people swinging by to serve us. Each person asking us what we wanted to order, if we had ordered, if the food was ok, even the butcher came by to ask us if everything was ok. Also once I paid, the tipping portion of the bill needed to be addressed on a separate bill because their system was not made for table service! The other waiter didnt event know I paid and said I could pay at the counter. This place was small enough where if they just paid attention they would know we were already asked these questions.

2. The Food- The whole idea of this small place was to see them cut the steak. So when we ordered the porterhouse with the herb seasoning to split they said they would cut it for us but a few minutes later the butcher said he had already cut a steak earlier and if it was okay. Didnt make a big deal out of it. We also order two sides, the onion rings and cream spinach. When the food came, it was uninspiring. The steak was 30% fat, not hot, and not even seasoned with the herbs we requested. They didnt even give us our own plates. So I needed to use the plate the steak came on and transferred pieces onto another for my partner. The onion rings were crunchy, and the cream spinach didnt even have much spinach! it was mostly cream. I ended up paying $150 for 3 things. For this price I would've expected a more elevated level of food...

I honestly don’t know where to begin I stopped in last Friday for the steak special it also happened to be my birthday so I figured why not I pass this place all the time when I walked in no one greeted me the seating setup was awkward two guys were taking up the big middle section another customer sat in the back and the only other seats were right by the door with no real comfort or atmosphere I probably should have left but I decided to give it a shot after I ordered the food started coming out in random waves first a side dish appeared with zero explanation and trust me you wouldn’t have known what it was either a few minutes later came the loaded baked potato which was basically a gluey mess of cheese and bacon then finally the steak supposedly the star of the show it was cooked fine but only one side had a proper char I’ve had better beef but at least it wasn’t overcooked I ordered a ginger ale and some water but they didn’t have any ice not sure what that’s about a steakhouse with no ice and to top it all off I spent half the meal swatting at flies one even landed right in my potato mess I finished my steak skipped the sides and still tipped the girl at the counter because none of this was her fault she did what she could she just wasn’t trained to deliver real quality service trust me I don't normally write reviews like this but this place just rubbed me the wrong way at one point this might have been a good place my the care and...

I ordered the Otto burger,: the cheese was half melted and the other half unmelted and still cold on my burger. Then when I gave the dumb curly haired kid behind the counter the exact small change for my bill which was $22.27 and I gave him $30.27 expecting my $8.00 in change back, he told me I could keep my .27 cent and he just took the $30.00 so I said thanks, thinking he was just being nice by sparing my the 27cents and would just round my change back to 8dollars even, but no! he gave me back $7.73 in Pennies, nickels and dimes which defeated the whole purpose of me giving him .27cents in the first place because I obviously didn’t want to be walking around with a bunch of loose change I mean who tf does right?? So he sat there and argued with me for about a minute when I said “why are you giving me back $7.73 when I should get back $8.00 after attempting to give you the .23cents which you for some weird reason refused it” he was so Dumb founded, he couldn’t even comprehend what I was trying to explain to him. I would never go back to this place, the food sucks over all and I’m shocked they’ve even been around this long with such poor service...
