Good afternoon.
I wanted to file a complaint on a nasty employee I encountered at Bryant Park Winter village on November 27th at approximately 1pm.
I believe her name was Joanne.
After 5 hours of driving from VA to NY, decided to stop by the stand in BPWV. Ive been coming to this same spot for past 7 years and they always complied with my request to not cut off the end of the baguette since its my favorite part. When ordering, I requested my end piece on and the cashier even knew the code word for it. The man serving me gave me 1 of the 2 sandwich i ordered and the end was cut off. I understand its busy so I kindly let the man know I requested my ends on, and that its okay mistakes happen. But Joanne, unnecessarily commented with attitude, “we never did that here. All comes with ends cut off.” I calmly replied, “Miss, I saw others walk out with a full sandwich today, and I’ve been coming here for years from when it was first $12. All I ask is for my order to be made how I asked” She rolled her eyes and replied with a nastier attitude, “like i said, we dont do that around here” as she cut off the end of my second sandwich.

However, when my name was called, I asked the woman who was handling my order to please cut mine as well, as I was sharing it with friends and was met with attitude, saying how she couldn’t and how I should’ve asked before. Had I known I could do that I would’ve… but it’s just frustrating when I literally watched another customer ask in that moment and hers was cut without the trouble. I get that it’s busy and there’s a rush but the attitude was extremely unnecessary and ruined my overall experience as a...

The employee then added all toping’s while I said ‘no’ 5 times. Then when the manager came by because I kept saying no. The employee said I said yes to toppings-which I didn’t. When I told the manager I said no, the employee remade my sandwich and the manager told me to say no before they make the sandwich which I did. They did not apologize at all. They did not listen to my instructions and tried to blame me for THEYRE mistake....
