The spot's millennial core decor didn't overshadow the super friendly service. The drinks were consistently well-balanced and delicious. Ordering everything on the menu revealed the kitchen's consistent quality. The coxinha stood out, crispy on the outside with a delicious filling, enhanced by the awesome green sauce. The stews and meat dishes were all nicely executed, tender, and flavorful. This place offers an overall excellent dining experience, and the prices are reasonable. The coxinha's textural contrast, crispy exterior and soft filling, was a highlight, the herbaceous and slightly acidic green sauce complemented it well. The meat dishes showed tender cuts, signaling careful preparation and appropriate cooking. The stews were rich and deeply flavored, indicating skillful layering of ingredients. Portion sizes were appropriate for the prices, enhancing the value. The ambiance, despite its specific aesthetic, was secondary to the food. The friendly service added to the welcoming atmosphere. This joint is commendable for its consistent quality and value, making it a worthwhile dining...
Read moreAs a Brazilian myself I was so excited to try this spot since itâs closer to home. Went there two times and both times left because we didnât get any service at all. We were completely ignored. So we just left. And the 2nd time i went there i was just hoping to place an order to go since i knew from the first time the service wasnât that great. But not even that i was able to do. I donât recommend this place at all and itâs sad because thereâs not that many Brazilian places uptown. Youâre better off going to queens for good Brazilian bites or in midtown where you can actually get service. My advice to the owners since I also work in hospitality management myself, is treat your locals good, theyâll be the ones who will support your business because your business is already in a not so great location. And hire better staff that doesnât ignore customers who couldâve been regulars. My family and I unfortunately wonât be...
Read moreOne of my favorite restaurants in NYC and the best Brazilian restaurant you can find in NY! Itâs beautifully decorated, the cocktails are incredible, the food is absolutely delicious and the service friendly and efficient. I love going there, itâs a place with great energy! I know for sure I will always have a good time, eat and drink well. They sometimes do street parties like festa junina, roda de samba, and they are super fun! I am Brazilian myself and this is the only place Iâve been that I feel like Iâm eating my momâs food. Every dish and cocktail comes with a flower, theyâre always nicely decorated, you can tell everything is made with love, and the price is incredible for a NYC restaurant. Just go there and see for yourself ! Youâll feel like you are a part of the family and become a regular, like I did. I highly...
