I'm not sure to give 4 or 5 stars. I been going to this market about 2 years now. My first impression was good selections of food products and food related items that's why I keep coming here. What I love about this store is they don't necessarily see if your going to steal but may be one guy with dreadlocks does once in a while. He looked in my shopping cart while I was checking price maybe he has his view about fair skin Asian people. Who knows 🤷🏻♂️. I have focus problem so I take a long time especially with loud music going on but other than that I don't have an obvious problem with this store\market. I am comfortable and put my mind at ease here that's why I come here often. It makes me happy in a way. Unlike other stores maybe because I am Asian or-and female who look masculine to be a guy for some reason I'd be deceiving them because you don't see much Asian masculine female. So I think they're inclusive and accepting of others no matter how one look like. They're price are just as good as the 96st Lexington ave market and better than Cherry Valley although I can understand because of size of store. For most part they try helping the best they can but I can't say the same for some cashiers like that tall brown Dominican guy he always talk in espanol spanish to his co worker almost secretly embrass me whenever I see we see each other. It's a nice store and I could see myself as a loyal customer there.
For stores and public area why time people then end up with the terrible conclusion like stealing. I or other people can very much take our time as much as we damn please. I am not a bad person nor a criminal and I don't disguse myself because I'm not feminine clothes. I am a sweet and friendly person from time I'm born til now. There is Duane Read on Broadway 94th st they have 2 black men who come in store dumping merchandise in their bag and leave. One time I bought birthday candles from cashier 2 guys came in one stuffed candies and other was in an isle putting stuff from shelf in his backpack. The cashier guy explained their manager called police and they say they cannot do anything about it so I guess from then on they come and go taking stuff because they can. I happened to talk with a off duty police pointing out one of the guys I spotted. He said they couldn't do nothing about it and it's because of mayor Bill DeBalsio. Okay so why not them but why am I the problem with...
Read moreWhat A well-stocked , well-managed, beautiful store! The manager of this store is highly professional and friendly while running a very tight ship and hiring great employees. The shelves are always stocked with fresh products. The produce is beyond fresh, it's well presented and handled with Love by all the hard-working employees. The customers also are very happy while they're shopping which makes for a good experience no matter what. And I'm so happy they're carrying my favorite brand of kombucha beer Unity Vibration, the OG of kombucha beer. Sure, it's a little more expensive but the flavor blows all the competition away. It gives you lots of natural probiotics to boost your immune system during these difficult times. And it's eight to 9% alcohol. Enjoy your shopping at this great...
Read moreUsed to love this market, until I notice discrepancies with the prices or false advertisement, they put a price on the shopper or display/Isle that you think you're getting a good deal and when you get to the register is a higher price. And on top of that they get very disrespectful when you make a claim, it doesn't matter if you are a handicap elderly woman for them to use harsh words towards you. Be carefull if you visit this store in Lexington Ave, always check your prices, if not you having an argument with the employee. I would never shop there even being the closer supermarket to my house, I would give my money to somebody else instead of this thiefs. That is no way of doing business. How you going to advertise one price and charge another? It is against the law and unfair to...
