I was able to sample the chocolate mousse through a friend. I thought it was excellent and since the store was local to my home I decided to visit the same week to try another flavor. I headed over with my husband and daughter while we were out on a walk. We are a blended family African American and Hispanic. At first glance I thought the place had cute decor and a nice ambiance. Mojo also has a connection with the business next door. There was one woman (Caucasian) ahead of us so we stood to the side to wait our turn. Several employes (Caucasian) walked by back and fourth and no one greeted us. The women behind the counter (Caucasian) was chatting with the customer in front of us and never stopped to greet us or even acknowledge we were in the store. It was not busy, a simple "I will be right with you" would have been enough. After waiting 6 minutes it was clear that we were getting ignores on purpose and were not going to be serviced anytime soon. It is never the responsibility of the customer to get the attention of the worker especially when there is only one other customer there. I am far too familiar with these types of establishments. News flash - you opened your business in East Harlem which is a predominantly poor neighborhood. 99% of your clients will be a person of color. Try treating everyone the same and with respect as our purchases fund your business. This is not just an opinion as I did not experience this by myself, this is a fact. Location: It is located in Upper East Side 100th St. near Mt Sinai Hospital. Due to covid, I can’t come inside the store, but they will re-open soon. I ordered by the door with the owner.
Service: the owner was super nice, the store wasn’t open yet but he took my order.
Food: I bought all the 5 flavors and everything was good. Their mousses are velvety, silky smooth and perfect amount of sweetness. My FAVE FLAVORS are: DARK CHOCOLATE, HAZELNUT PRALINE, WHITE CHOCO and MATCHA. Least favorite: PASSION FRUIT: not a fan, taste like chemical and grainy. Just get the other flavors!
Price rating: 8/10, a little pricey, really small cup for $4.
Definitely will come back to get the 4 flavors I ordered but not...

conveniently located in Lexington avenue, it’s highly worth visiting. Mousse is very silky and in particular available in small portion, which is rare, and precious here NYC
Imagine an espresso to couple with the chocolate mousse: tasteful n beautiful, sophisticated n straight-simple
it’s my everyday life back home Beijing, and anywhere i go in Italy, France, Japan, etc. But, NYC is a disappointment in this regard. Not easy to get it delicately prepared and elegantly presented
