South Slope hasn’t gotten a clue about this DIVINE mouthwatering Lebanese/American food gem 💎 Slopers don’t need to go all the way to Bay Ridge for Lebanese food, which quite honestly, based on my experience, isn’t good as this place! A real chef is cooking, everything taste sooo good & made how it’s suppose to be made! the tender grills are perfectly spiced, even the sides are absolutely delish, unlike other places. Once you try it once you’re gonna keep going back or ordering again because the food is fantastic & I’m in the Middle Easterner that knows our food saying it. Wish I tried this place sooner, didn’t know I’d be surprised by this spot. Was hungry & had to run to R train so stopped for a quick bite & now I’m regular there. I even order from them 👌

The place is very clean. I took my food to go. Didn't want to cook tonight! My kids enjoyed the fish and fries. It included a lemon on the side with some picked vegetables. I ordered also two kofta combo plates and not pictures is kibbeh because I ate those all on the way home! Because the restaurant was so busy, I had to wait some time for my food. It was worth it because I received a complimentary sahlab with pistachio topping. I thought it was rice pudding but it's something called Sahlab, more smoother of a consistency if that's what you prefer over rice pudding. I am able to cook many of these foods at home since I am Palestinian, but sometimes it's great to order food and not have to wash dishes! Will come back again!

I love Barouk! It's some of the best food in the neighborhood. It's consistently delicious and full of so much flavor that I'm inspired to order something different every time I visit (my pic is the chicken kofta combo with rice and salad). I'm so happy I no longer need to hop on the R to Bay Ridge to enjoy Lebanese food because Barouk nails it every time and at very affordable prices. And the owner is one of the nicest people in the world! Support this local biz!

Clean and simple restaurant. Non intimidating at all. The owner is very friendly and welcoming. Best toum ever!! So fresh, fluffy and light! Hummus, babaganoush and Tabbouleh, cucumber salad were also very good. Proteins were also tender and generous portions. The chicken specifically very well made. Sausage were also got lots of spice. My son had the burger he really enjoyed it. These habibi know how to cook! We are also happy that we are able to eat it with Lebanese bread. Not with greek pita! Colour full nutritious food made with love that you won’t believe when you pay the bill it cost less than pizza from next door where i live which very minimal with service that don’t even...
