This place is legit. If you like meat you will quickly become a regular.
The meats and sausages here are better than what you find in Polish neighborhoods such as Greenpoint and Ridgewood. Everything is made in back of the store and the best time to come is Friday or Saturday morning when everything is still warm. If they leave the back door open you can see everything hanging and being smoked.
Prices are very cheap compared to the quality and a pound of freshly made cold cuts here are much less expensive than the mass produced stuff you find in every deli counter in NYC.
I don't think the people working here know what organic or health food is, but that's sort of the point and why you go here.
The dill pickles in a jar are worth the trip for alone, but the bread is what you find at every other Polish deli, so bother with it.
Ask for a pound of the sliced meatloaf. The raw white sausage is a nice breakfast alternative. The blood sausage is somewhat greasy when you fry it, but I'm sure your cardiologist would say it's OK to have every now and then.

Read more1 start for not allowing those that can't wear a mask, to come into their store. I was going to buy a couple of ribeyes, porterhouse steaks, sausage and pork ribs -(if they have) for a bbq I'm doing, but since they don't allow customers in that don't wear a mask (regardless if you're vaccinated or not) I had to go elsewhere for the business, however the fact that they have this policy gives me the impression that they are the type to value politics over customers. As a customer this doesn't give me any value so I will avoid giving my business to this place and give it elsewhere where the customer is first and the...
Read moreFantastic food. The best in my experience in NJ & long island Almost everything is made in house. Best quality meats. Their stuffed cabbage is incomparable. Everyone is helpful & polite. We live 100 miles away and always visit Jubilat when we are in the area. I never ask about prices, but always get a big bang for my buck. It seems that I am the only one who does not speak Polish, and it doesn't matter. Since being a customer here, I can no longer frequent any others. They are...
