I had a disappointing experience with this bakery. I placed an order two weeks in advance for a half-pound cake and 24 cupcakes for my event. However, on the morning of the event, they seemed clueless about my order when I called to confirm. They advised me to check back at noon, but even then, they hadn't started making my order. When my cousin picked it up at 3 pm, the cake was already melting within minutes, despite the AC in the car being on and it not being a warm day. I had to rush it into the fridge when I got home.

When I called to explain what happened, they shrugged it off, claiming it was beyond their control once the cake left their premises. However, the box wasn't dirty from the cake; it was falling apart entirely. They offered two options: either return for a fix (which would have been an additional hour of travel) or credit for a future purchase. Given the timing of the party and the inconvenience, neither option was viable.

I attempted to salvage the situation, but when it came time to cut and enjoy the cake, it fell apart completely. Not only was the presentation ruined, but the taste was also disappointing. The cupcakes, while they maintained their appearance, did not live up to the hype in terms of taste. Overall, the experience was a letdown from start to finish, leaving me thoroughly dissatisfied with both the quality and flavor of the products."

Their cakes are usually so good and moist but there are times where you will get a dry piece. I always stopped by whenever I was in NY for slices of Dominican cake.I faithfully would get a cake from here for every birthday but never again. On my birthday I ordered a cake of caramel filling. I was reassured several times the cake would be caramel. Unfortunately, when I cut the cake it was pineapple and there is a risk with pineapple allergy! I called and explained this mistake, that they admitted to, only to be told to call back 3 times and they asked me to text them a picture. Once I got through, the owner had the nerve to offer me a 10$ credit and the cake is $35 not including the toll from New Jersey into New York $15. I explained this and they had the nerve to ask me to inconveniently travel and return the cake if I wanted to get a new one after I already proved their mistake with Photos.
