đ Perfect coffee escape in the middle of a hot NYC day
My husband and I were walking through sunny Manhattan â the kind of day when the sidewalks are glowing and everything feels like itâs melting just a little bit. We needed a break, a breath of cool air⊠and thatâs how we found Blue Bottle Coffee.
As soon as we stepped in, it felt like a peaceful oasis â clean, bright, and air-conditioned (thank goodness!). We ordered two coffees, and they were exactly what we needed: bold, rich, and full of flavor. You can tell they care about their craft here.
What I really loved was sitting by the big windows, sipping our drinks and watching the city go by â people rushing under the sun, tall buildings reflecting light. It felt calm, grounded, and somehow cinematic. đ„â
There were also a few people quietly working on laptops, and I could totally see myself coming back here to read, journal, or even catch up on emails.
â Highly recommended if youâre: âą Looking to cool down and relax âą Craving great coffee âą Needing a cozy, modern space to recharge
5 stars for the coffee, the atmosphere, and the little slice of stillness in the middle...
Read moreBlue bottle is really high quality coffee with minimal pretension and fair prices. Admittedly, this location in Rockefeller Concourse isn't quite the easiest to find, as it's not in the same small proximity as the majority of other stalls.
If you're looking for it and you found starbucks instead, turn 180 so starbucks is to your back, and walk counterclockwise around the concourse. Blue Bottle will show up on your right near the womens' restroom.
Service here was great - I got the prepackaged new orleans style coffee because it was hot out and I was in a rush. The coffee comes in one of those middle-school style milk cartons but I was offered a cup with ice and a bag, which I appreciated. The chicory flavor comes through very well, it's smooth, and not oversweetened. And if you opt to forgo the cup with ice, you get your full flavor iced coffee without dilution!
Solid coffee, nice service,...
Read moreThey served me dairy instead of almond milk l, I noticed as soon as I tasted it (havenât drank dairy in 11 years) and asked to confirm it was almond. They (rudely) said it was and so I took the drink. I tasted it several more times and it still tasted like dairy so I took it back and politely/apologetically asked them to change it. One of the baristas insisted it was almond again, shouted to the barista across the store to âquery itâ who - aghast - shouted back thatâs sheâs on lunch. There was no need for such theatrics, if youâre charging $7 for a coffee and your customer isnât happy just politely offer to change it. Itâs not a personal attack on the barista, itâs just a coffee. Thankfully another barista was there who swiftly swapped it with no drama as should have been...
