By far the best Dominican food in Inwood, Washington Heights & possibly even Manhattan & nearby Bronx borough. That's right, I said it! Come for yourself & see.
The restaurant is extremely clean & staff always provides exceptional customer service to me & everyone walking through their door.
As for the food, well it is like the 2 Dominican male cooks in the kitchen sat by & watched, ate & learned all the women in their families secrets in the "Dominican Kitchens" & said lets bring this joy to anyone who walks through our door.
They have the fairest & most affordable food for its value. The fish is excellent, salads, beans, locrios, fruit shakes are all the same - incredibly tasty. Today the verenjena (stewed eggplant), pollo guisado (stew chicken), arroz con guandules (peas & rice) has me feelimg like my Mom (now deceased) was in the kitchen with them when it was prepared.
Thank you Boca Chica for bringing amazing food & service to our community. I will be coming here for...
Read moreThese people are weird . They ignore the customers and laugh about it . The dominican light skin lady and the colombian lady with the hair net are the main ones with this disgusting behavior. The colombian lady is one of the owners … Disgusting to treat people this way in a food establishment.. You can clearly see the response below , POOR customer Service . They hang up the phone when you call and when you go to order they take forever to not take your order, then when they do is with a smart remark/ smart attitude.. These people are WEIRD definitely dont belong in this community… and when I say weird its because its business in which people consume , Why do you think you should treat the people contributing to your business poorly… only a weird business owner acts this ways and allow this behavior in their establishment. The owner leads the...
Read moreHonestly the food there is great however this is the first time I’ve had a terrible experience with this restaurant. My girlfriend I’ve ordered a chicken and cheese mofongo and steak mofongo. Now normally we would order and then go to a supermarket then come back and pick up the food however when we did, the order was never put in. After that was situated they only gave us a cheese Mofongo which is a lot cheaper in price rather than the chicken and cheese mofongo, what we originally ordered. On top of that is not like they even bother to apologize. So not for nothing, even though the food is good here, the Customer service is terrible. This’ll probably be the last time I eat here. There are plenty of Dominican restaurants nearby who accommodates the same style...
