Absolutely Outstanding Indian Cuisine – A Must Visit! I recently had the pleasure of dining at this gem of an Indian restaurant, and I can confidently say it was one of the most memorable culinary experiences I’ve had in a long time.
Ambiance & Interior: From the moment you step inside, the atmosphere is warm, inviting, and immaculately curated. The interior design strikes a perfect balance between traditional Indian elegance and modern comfort. The lighting is soft and ambient, with intricately designed hanging lamps, tasteful artwork, and comfortable seating that makes you want to settle in and stay a while. Whether you're here for a casual dinner or a special occasion, the ambiance sets the perfect tone.
Food: Now to the real star of the show – the food. Every dish we ordered was full of bold, authentic flavors and cooked to perfection.
Biryani: The biryani was hands down one of the best I’ve ever had. Fragrant, layered with flavor, and cooked just right. The rice was fluffy and aromatic, each grain separate, and the meat was tender and juicy. It had just the right amount of spice to warm your palate without overwhelming it. Served with cooling raita and a tangy salan on the side – absolute perfection. Garlic Naan: The garlic naan deserves its own spotlight. Fresh out of the tandoor, it was soft, buttery, and had a generous topping of finely chopped garlic and herbs. It paired perfectly with the curries and was so good we ended up ordering extra rounds. Lamb Chops: The lamb chops were the showstopper. Perfectly marinated with a blend of spices that penetrated deep into the meat, then grilled to juicy, smoky perfection. They had a beautiful char on the outside while remaining incredibly tender inside. Every bite was bursting with flavor. Service: The service was just as impressive as the food. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely enthusiastic about the menu. Our server was attentive without being intrusive and made excellent recommendations that really enhanced our experience. Final Thoughts: This restaurant delivers on all fronts – from the decor and ambiance to the outstanding quality of the food and the top-notch service. It’s clear that a lot of care and attention goes into every detail, and it shows.
If you're looking for a place to enjoy authentic Indian cuisine in a beautiful setting, look no further. Whether you're a biryani lover, a naan enthusiast, or just someone who appreciates well-cooked lamb, this place is a must-visit. Can’t wait...
Read moreThe worst Indian food I ever tasted in the NYC. The service was very slow. I ordered a whole lot without taste testing which was completely my fault. I usually stay away from new restaurants and this place made me feel I was right doing that. I ordered panner tikka masala medium and bindi masala. Gosh, the worst. Everything tasted like they had been doused with tomato ketchup. It was sweet, extremely sweet that I shouldn't have ordered the dessert. I sent back the bindi masala and few minutes later, it was served again with adding chilli powder without even given time to be mixed and cooked properly. The waitress, looked at my distress and displeasure, at least gave me some green chillies. I felt like my taste buds passed away in a single night. Finally, when it was time to leave, the mighty guy who took our order came to us asking about the food. I didn't know where he went when I sent the food back the first time. He offered me to redo it when it was already late but the food was still mostly untouched. When I said no, he didn't even bat an eye. His only priority was browsing his mobile rather than wondering about the customers. I should have known upon entering, I saw lot of people who literally cannot handle spices. There is mild and American mild. This restaurant caters to the latter. And I ended up leaving the restaurant extremely bitter after wasting 60$ on extremely sweet foods which was not even eaten halfway. Stay away if you really have some taste buds left to actually taste something. Lassi and the naan, kulchas were good but rest...
Read moreWe were looking for some quality Indian food and decided to stop in for dinner.
The dining room was quite busy, luckily there were still some tables available. The dining area was more narrow than I expected but very comfortable.
We immediately received menus and water, the staff here are exceptionally fast and attentive. I also ordered a sprite, much to my surprise they served the soda in a can, although I did not check the price is was quite clear there would be no refills.
Whenever I eat in an Indian restaurant, I prefer to order the same entree each time, Chicken Tikka Masala. So I stuck with my main entree and added the Garlic Naan to go along with it.
When the entree arrived I noticed the masala sauce appeared to be a bit darker in color than I was used to. After the fist bite I realized this masala sauce had a very rich flavor, it was exceptional. The chicken was cooked and seasoned perfectly. I found this to be one of the best tikka masala entrees I have ever had. The garlic naan was not under-cooked and provided for a slight crisp to the bread, it was excellent.
After dinner we were offered a desert which consisted of frozen orange cremes, still in the orange peel. This was wonderfully refreshing and a very nice surprise, a perfect way to end the dinner.
The price point for the quality and quantity of food is excellent! The customer service is excellent as well, a very personable and friendly...
