Midtown Health Center — Local services in New York

I don’t have any complain about the health care provider.But definitely yes for the front desk on the corner on 6th floor.I had an appointment on 10/10/22 at 1:00pm for my 3 years son. I arrived their 12:30pm and the front desk there was one lady she said you have to wait because the nurse went for lunch then I said okay and I came back at 1:00pm .They made me wait almost 3 hours and they taking someone else before then me she was walking in ,when I asked her she said she came early then me so what ? I have an appointment at 1pm still they taking her first it’s because of I am Asian and can’t speak English that well.I saw so discrimination over their.And there was one lady on the corner she was so rude and she don’t have feeling for kid. She was so mad at me because my son went Inside to say hi to her.After waiting 3 hours when they called my son name and they said they don’t take 3 years old . If it is then why they take appointment and I mentioned my son’s date of birth too. Are they uneducated? I never seen such a irresponsible front desk ever and rude I will never forget her face. My son was so exhausted, tired, sleepy but they don’t have feeling or kid. So how they know how I been that whole 3 hours with your tired child. It was so bad experience...

No one ever picks up the phone at this center, today since 11am I am calling patients services and no one picks up or you can't even lieve voice mail. I try my dr.with the ext he provided to me and same thing. I told Queens Health center is bad but this one is worse. They definitely need a training because they don't know how to run those union clinics. I'm taking my parents to a 32bj clinic on 26str wow what for a different between them and our clinic. They have great dr ,the doctors really make time for you and they actually listen to you. They make sure you get all the care you need, they pick up their calls and returning calls right away. If you don't no any better then you will think this clinic is good but is not ,it's actually very bad. Our union dues are much higher then the union dues my parents paying but they have much better dr...

Very disappointed, even with all these new locations this clinic is still very busy …. You wait 3-6months for appointments and once you get there you wait another 3/6 hours to get seen. On top of all the money we pay we have to leave work early in order to get seen the same day. It’s so easy for people to act like you don’t have a job or family. This is so disgusted. I am very upset and hope that one day this changes. There is also one yes ONE PEDIATRIC SHES NOT TAKING APPOINTMENTS AT THE MOMENT AND NOW I HAVE TO TRAVEL AND TO ANOTHER HEALTH CENTER THAT IS OUT OF MY WAY JUST LIKE MIDTOWN OUT OF MY WAY AND STILL DEAL WITH ATTITUDE AND LONG WAITS. I would love to say I won’t ever come back but that’s how they get us and our hard earn money. We have no other choices!!!!! Do better local 6...
