ATTENTION to the owner/Manager: PLEASE TEACH THEM CUSTOMER SERVICE!
I love the breakfast because the chef is a great cook. However, the girl named Simmi, that answers the phone to take orders on weekday mornings, is the most rudest person they can have for customer service. She needs to be changed for a different person ASAP. I mean just check the other reviews. Everyone seems to have the same complaint! Hello to the owner.... why aren't you seeing what's wrong with your business? Oh and make sure you order 1 HOUR ahead of time, because unlike other places where delivery is promised within 15-20 mins, 30 max... this place will take an hour or longer to deliver even if I work literally across the street at NYU. Clearly, they need more delivery staff.
So it's been 8 months and I decided to order from this place, hoping Simmi got some customer service training. Of course Simmi picks up. After placing my order, I asked if she can read the order back to me (which I shouldn't have to ask), she replied that she cannot do that and has to place the order because it's almost lunch hour at 11 AM. However it was still 10:45 AM and reading back an order would not take her 15 mins. As much time that passed as she argued back and forth with me... she could've just read me my order. I asked to speak to someone else or a manager. She refused to give the phone. I informed her that she is the rudest person and hung up on her. I called Bagels NY on 1st Avenue and the customer service I got was outstanding! My coworkers from the hospital agree that the staff is very rude at this location. Read moreThe food is ok but a few staff members have very rude tendencies, particularly the Hispanic man the makes the smoothies and Açaí bowls. On numerous occasions he has ignored orders or questions and responded rudely when I repeat myself , and he lacks urgency, instead of helping a line full of customers he nonchalantly restocks items as if everyone has all the time in the world. Very unfortunate, I won’t be ordering from that station cause it appears this is acceptable.
Im very disappointed to say that after numerous letdowns I have finally given up on this place. Today I went to order a sandwich, I was the only person on the line. The men preparing the sandwiches saw me but continued to clean their stations and restock. I didn’t rush them. A couple of white men went ahead of me to get a better look at the menu, no problem. The employees quickly came to assist and ask for their order. I quickly said I been waiting , if they don’t mind taking my order. One of the workers mumbled something, I ignored it, ordered my food, and went off to get a water. When I came back to pick up my sandwich I overheard them speaking about my sandwich and the one man who toke my order said that the sandwich belonged to the pendeja (Spanish word for idiot or punk) Very disappointed in my fellow latinos. Read moreI ordered a panini for delivery that I heard good reviews about from a place where I work. I was eager to try this and hoping it would be as good as people said it was. One hour later, I didnt hear back anything, so I called and the person answered and I said, I'm just calling to find out the status of my order and he hung up, I called again from my phone and he didnt answer 2 times, I then called from another phone and he answered. He said the order will be there in 5 mins....30 mins after that I called and said I still didnt receive the order, he said it will be there in one min, ...this had been 2 hours and still no food and I was starving, ...i said is the food really going to be here in one min? when I spoke with the person over the phone he was very rude and said he can just cancel the order because he's busy and i give his customer service was a zero. He wasnt even a little sympathetic that I didnt receive my order yet, he was quickly rushing me off the phone, my concerns were not addressed and I still didnt get any panini.
