New Wave Pier — Attraction in New York

No restrooms, no shade, barely a park as there is no grass and nearly no trees, no bushes along the fences to soften the loud noises from cars on the FDR. I have lived in front of this waterfront for 29 years. One thing that sets this area apart from the East River Esplanade is the fact that there is NO shade.
