Dr. Halazun is a brilliant surgeon with a humble heart. The gifts God has bestowed upon him give life in the mystery of our salvation. My husband Raymond has more to do on this earth we suppose. He received a liver transplant from Dr. Halazun. His surgical skills along with an incredible team from Weill Cornell hospital allowed my husband a successful surgery. Every medical detail was impeccably handled. The care was impeccably given. Raymond is incredibly blessed to have prayers answered fot the gift of a new liver. May Almighty God bless the donor and his choice to leave his organ to another human person, there are no words to express the gratitude

It was July 1st when we met Dr. Halazun for the first time. My wife was diagnosed with gall bladder cancer in late January 2019 and the two most famous cancer hospitals for this disease in the Northeast both told us that interventional surgery to remove the cancer was too complicated and that the prognosis was not good.

After five months of chemo treatments elsewhere, we had run out of hope, until we met Dr. Halazun, who felt, successful surgery was possible. He gave us hope and then a week later, he came through by performing a nearly 11 hour surgery to successfullly remove the cancer.

It is now thiree months since surgery and each day she is getting stronger and stronger and looking better and better.

Dr. Halazun and his team was amazing through the whole process, visiting us multiple times each day during our extended stay int he hospital and following up promptly to answer each and every question and concern with respect and sensitivity throughout.
