To reply:
I am shocked by the owner’s response, which is filled with false accusations. I have to clarify serious misrepresentations. For the record:
I did not push, touch, or physically threaten any staff member at any time.
My baby was by my side. I was not in a physical position to be confrontational, nor did I behave aggressively.
I pointed at the order number when she didn’t hear the number clearly twice — and I did not touch the staff. She suddenly shouted “Don’t touch me!” without cause, loudly and publicly, while I was completely non-confrontational and standing still.
I only began recording after being treated unfairly and falsely accused, to protect myself.
Their staff made no apology for the delayed order (20+ mins late), and dismissed my concerns with hostility. And I reported to the Fantuan immediately after I got the order. The record is 20+ mins after the order showed that was ready to be picked up.
I felt singled out and mistreated, and the staff’s tone and body language made me question whether racial bias played a role in the escalation.
What the owner didn’t mention: The male staff member only appeared after the female staff called him from the kitchen and told him to demand that I delete my video. Only after that did he ask what had happened. He remained polite but did not stop the female staff from yelling at me, even though I was with my baby and clearly distressed. I eventually responded loudly as well — after being shouted at repeatedly and humiliated in front of other customers, and only because I felt completely mistreated. The staff made no apology for the delay (the Fantuan app showed my food was “ready” 20+ minutes earlier). Instead, they were dismissive, condescending, and hostile. This review reflects my real experience, based on facts and supported by timestamped records and personal video. Additionally, the female staff member demanded I leave what she called her "work area" while asking for my order number. I was standing calmly in the usual customer waiting area, not blocking or interfering with any staff. For anyone who has been to this restaurant, it’s clear that the order pickup and payment counters are open spaces without strict physical barriers and next to the restroom. Am I really expected to stand outside the door, away from the counter, just to respond to a simple question? This unreasonable demand felt like an attempt to escalate the situation rather than assist a customer politely. Moreover, the response from the owner, with threats of legal action, is clearly meant to intimidate me from telling the truth. I stand by my original review. I welcome the release of unedited CCTV footage so that an impartial third party can judge what really happened. I believe in treating workers with respect — but I also believe that customers deserve to be treated with basic dignity, especially when a baby is involved. I reserve all rights to take legal measures to protect my interests if necessary. Thank you to those who read both sides and consider the facts carefully.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I came to pick up a prepaid order. The female employee at the counter was shockingly rude. She refused to give any update on my delayed order, snapped at me, and falsely accused me of "touching" her — which was a complete lie. When I asked for clarification, she began yelling in public, threatening me by saying there was CCTV, and then pulled out her phone to start filming me, my baby, and even my order details without permission. The worst part: I was there with my infant baby who standing quietly by my side — and my baby was visibly frightened by the yelling. Her behavior was not just unprofessional, it was hostile, intimidating, and discriminatory. I’ve filed a formal complaint. This staff should not be interacting with customers — let alone families with...
Read more@bunsik_ny . I’ve walked pass this place maybe a handful of times, but never really looked inside or the anything… . It’s very similar to kimganae and chungmoo on Union… offering kimbab, rice dishes, rice cakes, fried foods, ramyun, noodle soups, and some western/fusion dishes. . Kimganae is good, but I think it was better pre pandemic. while they list it closes at 9, the kitchen is closed before that. Also, their seating is very tight, no space in between, definitely just and quick bite and no time to chat and eat in there… time is money for them… . Chungmoo - I like their food but I don’t like that they don’t have table service. They have self seating but when it’s hot, it too hot to eat there. No AC or ventilation. . This is not the case at @bunsik_ny - they have nice/comfy/spacious seating, AC game pretty strong for this hot summer we are having, opens late(r) and they serve alcohol. . Everything we have ate there has been really good. They make really good kimbap, maybe the best in the downtown flushing area… . Omurice - it was very tasty, but for those who don’t like ketchup, maybe you won’t like it, the rice is coated with ketchup, so it’s tangy and sweet. They fry the egg with butter so you taste the better. The fried egg was pretty thick and kept intact when you cut through it. Also, a pet peeve of mine is when restaurants use frozen veggies in their dishes, and they don’t cook it thoroughly, where they are still hard to bite into, but not the case here, the carrots and peas were cooked long enough where it was soft… . Ramyun- who doesn’t love a hot/noodle dish cooked and served in an earthen ware pot? For me, I love my noodles/soups piping hot and this kept the dish hot for awhile… . Pork Cutlet and Hamburg Rice Platters - also good, and they give you very good portions of the protein.. trust me, you won’t leave there hungry… . Do check them out if you like Korean...
Read moreVisited this restaurant about a month ago since it was conveniently located where my party and I were having our outing. As it was their grand opening (opened for only 2 weeks when we were there in mid-May), we weren't sure what to expect and we were the only customers there as well. The menu offered an extensive range of delectable choices and we were pleasantly surprised to find how cheap everything was. Additionally, our waitress was extremely friendly and to our delight, the drinks were on the house as part of the grand opening celebration! We ended up ordering a variety of dishes, including the spicy rice cake with ramyun noodles ($13), buldock roll ($8), kimchi fish cake udon ($14), bibimbab ($13), baby octopus over rice ($15) and ramyun ($8.50). Every dish was delicious and we had no complaints. Food was definitely worth the price and so I took some rolls to-go! Overall, we had a wonderful experience and I will definitely be returning in the future should I be...
