This newly opened cafe is a hidden gem in Astoria, Queens. I absolutely adore the soft background music, charming decor, and bright lighting in the cafe. The patio in the backyard is a lovely escape from the hustle and bustle of the streets. The menu offers a great selection, including delicious French-style pastries and baked goods. Frank, the owner, and his staff are incredibly welcoming. I will definitely be returning on my next visit to Queens. I highly recommend this place!

New neighborhood gem in Astoria! I’ve visited several times for my afternoon cappuccino and have had excellent experiences each time. The service is friendly, and the cafe has a wonderfully relaxing vibe. Most importantly, the coffee is quite good, but the standout for me is the lemon cake - super dense with the perfect amount of sweetness. Highly recommend for a relaxing coffee break!

We went early on a Sunday morning and it was a wonderful experience. I had a raspberry iced mocha and a sausage/egg/cheese croissant sandwich, and my friend got an iced black coffee with a bacon egg and cheese croissant sandwich with tomato and onion. It was all excellent. We also got a few pastries to go, all also wonderful. Great time. Clean bathrooms and dining area!

Cafe 9 is an absolute gem in Astoria, with a menu that you genuinely can't go wrong with anything you order. Their bacon, egg, and cheese paired with an iced lavender matcha is my perfect breakfast combo, but I've tried nearly everything on their menu, and it's all fantastic. Their pastry selection deserves special mention - each item is perfectly balanced with just the right amount of sweetness that keeps you coming back for more.

This place is unique, though, because of the incredible staff and owners who make everyone feel like family from day one. Their genuine warmth and attention to customer service, combined with consistently delicious food and drinks, make Cafe 9 a neighborhood treasure I can't recommend highly enough.

For Manhattanites, it's just a quick and scenic ferry ride away—trust me, it's...

This was my first experience at this restaurant and I got sandwiches to go. I ordered the chicken pesto sandwich and the turkey sandwich which the menu listed came with cheddar, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, and mayo on it. I asked for the turkey sandwich without mayo or cucumber only to come home and find a sandwich WITH mayo and WITHOUT tomato and cheddar which I wanted on the sandwich. The sandwich tasted fine, but it's not what I ordered. I likely...
