Café Renis is an adorable little coffee shop that recently opened this past weekend. Their menu is simple; they sell crafted coffee drinks (hot and cold), sandwiches (tuna, ham & cheese) and a few baked goods items (croissants, macarons, cookies, and cake).

The décor is very cute and makes the café really stand out from all the other shops on this block. There are comfy benches, lounge chairs and plenty of Instagram worthy spots inside. They have an outdoor seating area in the front of the café and there is also a small sunroom in the back. Staff is very friendly, and prices are on the higher end. I got an almond croissant ($4.00), yogurt parfait ($6.50) and a frappe ($5.00). The cold frappe was great and really hit the spot on this hot day. The almond croissant and yogurt parfait were both good. Overall, a nice little cafe, great for hanging out, a nice addition to the...

Cafe Renis is a new neighborhood coffee shop. They've opened very recently, so be patient- they're still training their employees (for instance, I and another patron both needed to ask for the pastries we ordered after receiving our drinks).

Note: they accept card and cash but have an additional fee for card purchases- ~$.50 for a $7 purchase. Prices are also slightly higher than other in the neighborhood.

Thoughts: The iced lattes were quite good. It would be nice if they had cinnamon at the bar by the sugar to add. They use Stumptown beans.

Their chocolate croissant was incredibly flakey, and I would argue better than Moa's croissants (though it's also more expensive)

Both outdoor and indoor seating is available. Uncertain about the outlet situation, but it may be a new WFH destination in the...

I went in for a quick breakfast and left disappointed. I paid $20.96 for a small iced coffee (even though I had ordered a large) and a crunchy sandwich that seemed like it had been sitting out for a while. Since I didn’t leave a tip, the staff member immediately asked if my order was to go or for here — which came across as pretty rude.

I’m not giving a one-star review only because there used to be a girl working here who made the place feel welcoming and worth coming back to. But the last few times I’ve been here, the experience has gone downhill — to the point that I don’t want to return anymore. Sadly, this visit left a bad...

Ok! Ham & Cheese Croissant. My daughter's favorite. It really isn't your average ham & cheese. The Turkey and Avocado sandwich was my choice. Even though it was number three of the three sandwiches, it was also delicious. My number 1 was The Nipce Sandwich. The salami makes it salty, but the sweetness of the arugula really evens the taste out. I don't usually eat a runny egg on a sandwich, but on this sandwich, I wouldn't have it any other way. I will order it every timeâŁïž OH! The homemade Apple Crumble Pie. DON'T LEAVE WITHOUT A SLICE! I got one for my husband and I, but I wish I'd gotten two.
