On Saturday June 11th My Wife and I took a stroll to this Carvel. We arrived at 10:05pm. It clearly states that they close at 10:30pm. After walking 15mins to get there we were told that they were no longer serving soft serve ice cream. They had there mop buckets out and cleaning. It looked to me as if there priority was to leave as fast as possible instead of making sure there customers have a good experience. This was always my go to spot for ice cream. Read moreThe worst Carvel I’ve been to. I asked for strawberry and vanilla ice cream shake. The worker starts making it with soft vanilla ice cream and strawberry syrup. I ask him to use strawberry ice cream instead. He tells me that “this is how we make it”. I asked the second guy there to correct his co worker. He says “it’s the same thing”. The third guy comes out (I am assuming he was the manager) and first words out of his mouth are “what’s the problem?” He blames me for giving them a confusing order. Read moreWhats to say, Carvel is the best! Went in for the Flying Saucer cause I just love them but have not had one is a long time since Carvels are not in my neck of the woods. I was happy to find that they taste just like they did so long ago.
This location is very clean and the staff was quite friendly. I stayed around in the shop to eat my treat because it was cold outside and watched as they carefully crafted home made treats that got boxed up and ready for sale.
I do wish they had a table and chairs to sit but I was not there that long and maybe in the summer they might have...
