I have been coming to this location since it opened. From 2017-2019, I was eating here around twice a week. When I went to college in 2019, I couldn't come as frequently.
It was my favorite Five Guys location by far. I remember "Willens" and "Dave" had my order memorized, and would have the patties on the grill as soon as they saw me walk through the door.
Of course, exceptional employees such as them won't stick around forever. When I came back from college, Willens and Dave were both gone.
Long story short, last night I came in and had an amazing experience that took me back to my peak five guys days in 2018. Devon took my order and Morgan made it. I can not speak highly enough of the service I received.
Morgan may have made the best five guys order I've ever had, and that's coming from someone who's eaten well over 1000+ patties from Five Guys.
Both Morgan and Devon couldn't have been friendlier and more professional. Everyone is quick to complain when they get bad service, and I think it's important to point out when employees go above and beyond for you.
I will start coming back to this location as much as I can (maybe not as much as my prime considering I'm now working in NYC), ESPECIALLY when I know Morgan and/or Devon are working. Thank you BOTH for the exceptional experience, I cannot wait to come back because of the effort & care they both...
Read moreHaving a chance to go to the basement I was disappointed with how the employees managed the store. The stairs were light brown with bacteria reeking the surrounding area. The grease coats the kitchen and the floors in the basement that the employees have a tough time walking up and down the stairs. Although the store does stay on top of standardized safety regulations and keeps itself well supplied, the crew are careless keeping the store alive and running. Often, I find a lack of hygiene and unsanitary practices abhorrent. The cut fries are kept in a metal tub in the basement with complete disregard. I strongly advice people to stay away from the store because of health and safety concerns. The lack of care with food and work ethic in the basement are inexcusable. The only positive comment I can write about the store is the customer service within the dining area. If only the employees at Five Guys treat work in the basement as serious as customer service, the place would be a hundred times better. However, the store has a long way to go to meet standards compared to Panera and Starbucks in the plaza.
To anyone reading my advice, I honestly don't want to taint your image of Five Guys. However, if you were a close friend of mine I would tell you not to risk eating...
Read moreFor what it is: cheap, greasy, triple by pass surgery needing food, Five Guys delivers.
The burgers at 5 guys are amazing, no matter what arrangement of toppings you put on your delectable burger it sure to please the pallet. One of the only "flaws" to five guys is the relatively long wait compared to other fast food joints, but this only pays testament to really how fresh these burgers are. The fries are decent at 5 guys but they do not live up to the pedigree of the burgers. They tend to get soggy and are hit and miss, but in the scheme of things the fries suffice as a good side.
This particular 5 guys location is clean and the staff is friendly and on their game, highly...
