I went there today after a LONG day I ordered the birria and needed confirmation if they added cheese to make it quesobirria and the lady kept explaining to me that the birria was 3 tacos and it came with consome which is the birria sauce. She finally told me it comes with cheese. So I ordered the birria with the understanding there were 3 tacos, with cheese along with the consome. When I got home I went to eat my tacos and there was no consome after her continual insistence that it came with this sauce. Unfortunately this made the tacos taste dry and it was unsatisfying. WOW! Best. Empanadas. I've. Ever.Had. no kidding. I ordered two, or should I say my boyfriend ordered me two ( can you say cha-ching? $$$) Well anyway, the ones I got were chicken and cheese, one of each. They were flaky, moist, and de-lic-ious. I enjoyed them on the LIRR as the lady sitting across fro me jealously stared. Go get your own!!!!!! I used to be a 5 star rating. I really loved this places empanadas particularly the chicken ones and the shrimp ones. Esp the shrimp. And the chicken is still great! But the shrimp….they are cutting down the filling to an egregious degree I think. Now they’ve always had an issue with skimping on those. And yknow it was good enough that I’d still get it. Because little air at the edges doesn’t override an incredible flavor. But last time? It was literally half empty. Just empanada crust for half of it. Maybe it was a fluke a poorly stuffed one.
