Next Level Burger Brooklyn — Restaurant in New York

Food is excellent. Wish they would open another location though. Service at this location is lacking. Went to order, cashier was distracted talking to another coworker. We ordered, ask how much a 2nd patty on one of the burgers would be, she said $2. We opened up the app, first time using it, and asked her about the 2 offers we had on it $3 off and free fries. She said she didnt know anything about the offers on the app or how they work and called over someone else. He said yeah you leave them checked and it will automatically take them when you scan it. So we reiterated with cashier "ok so the free fries will appear when we scan" & she didnt respond (distracted by talking with coworkers). We got our receipt, noticed the 2nd patty was actually $3, not $2 & that the free fries weren't listed. When we got the order, we opened bag and no fries. We told the cashier that the free fries were missing but we did order and it took the offer off the app. Cashier said it doesnt say you ordered fries & got the manager. Manager said the same "you have to order the fries" & I told him that we told cashier we wanted the free fries from the offer and he was basically like "too bad". It obviously was a misunderstanding bc we didnt know how the app works and neither did cashier. I feel like this would have been avoided had the cashier been paying attention. And I felt the .manager could've rectified the situation instead of being unapologetic and dismissive. Too bad because I love the food and want to support all vegan establishments but this visit left a bad taste...

My brother was raving about this place and we decided to visit before an Event at The Barclays Center. The restaurant is located in the Whole Foods. This is a vegan restaurant. You can place an order with the cashier or at the kiosk. The wait was quite long. I ordered the American Cheeseburger. I’ve tasted vegan food in the past and enjoyed it. However, I did not like this burger. I can’t even describe the taste; I just could stand to take another bite. I was so hungry I took the patty off and tried to eat just the bread but it also wasn’t good. My tater tots were overcooked many of them were dried out. I ordered a grape soda to go with my meal but that wasn’t good either. My brother also informed me his burger wasn’t good. He told me the last time he visited the restaurant the food was excellent. He didn’t eat his burger either. He also had a cookie and cream shake in. which he didn’t like. The best thing about the restaurant was the staff member who assisted us. I don’t remember her name but she displayed Excellent customer service. She was so helpful and polite. There is a small sitting area if you choose to dine in. This isn’t a restaurant I would return to. The prices are too expensive for me not to be able to eat and enjoy my meal. Our meal was almost $60 for the 2 of us. I was really upset I wasted my money and now would have to spend more money for food. The restaurant is accessible via public...

I'll tell you what keeps me coming back here! While the food is great💜💜💜 the customer service is always on point. 🗣️Shout out to Emmanuel who was on the register this past Wednesday night at the Brooklyn location👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾. Two of my last three visits here, he was the cashier. Both times very professional and cool AND got my order right💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾. Moving along, some of the employees are really good with observation and can tell if it's your first time there or not. Those who work the front know the menu very well, which is another highlight if you have no clue where to start. Hygiene is on point, which is the deal breaker for me when it comes to food, vegan or not. I don't play with hygiene when it comes to food prepping. The milkshakes are THE BEST in my book as of now. They have soy and coconut base, I choose the latter. This is the only fast food chain that I know that tells you to leave your trash behind and they'll clean it up(not verbatim but close enough 😄). Oh and they bring your food to you too! It's always worth the trip here! I ordered for take out last visit and took it home and the food was still nice and hot.
